Zodiac - Another Dying Server.
 

Jerret and Puppin, Creators of Zodiac have been fired unfairly, by the PRA (Player Relations Admin), and the rent-a-manager Calani.

Jerret was supposedly fired for "talking with Yen". Both of them made everything in the server from scratch, Yen managed to help on skills and a few other things.

The PRA submitted hundreds of support tickets trying to fire Calani, for being unactive while he himself was highly unactive. Then he cried to Calani to get Jerret fired, because he nerfed his class and was talking with Yen.

Basically the PRA lied his way to the top and suceeded.

If you look at the serverlist now, it's Unholy Nation, Era, Delteria, Val, N-Pulse then Zodiac... we have 24 players, and No there is no reset or the NPC server isn't down.


the Manager (Frotter, PRA) logs on once a day (if any) for 8-13 minutes, then logs off. All the dev staff have quit, only a few PRs and 1 or 2 unactive GATs remain.


I don't want to see Zodiac die. Something needs to be done, and the globals most definetley need to listen to another side of the story.

Calani and Frotter have done nothing for Zodiac but manipulate power.

Jerret and Puppin, day by day are losing intrest in the server they created, the globals need to get their priorities straight and save this dying server.

Oh, btw, Yen did more than "help on skills and a few other things"...as I recall he pretty much made the whole server, script-wise. And, as I remember, Jerret and Puppin weren't exactly great people themselves. And if a server can sustain itself, you can't blame a manager for being inactive.

This PRA seems a bit of a douche, though.

Me too, I'd rather see Maloria do that job rather people being fired and the developement of the server stop. :D

My thoughts exactly. Not just with Graal either, with life...it's sad.
But my bet is this'll all blow over. Either Zodiac will die or it won't. In the end it won't exactly effect our lives too much...at least it shouldn't.

If it does affect your life then get off of The Internet before you kill yourself.

He is completely. The guy was working with the stuff that I'd done, because even though I wasn't PR Admin I had to repair it as no one else would. All values I set for the staff were lost when I left and the Player Relations team then split off into four staff teams; Player Relations, FAQ, Q&A, and Support. Yes, they had 4 different staff teams (and still do I believe) for one job.

Now this guy is the manager? Heh.

Simple solution.. Let me take over

Zodiac has Novo now as lead developer. This practically ensures that Zodiac is going to take off ^^.

Zodiac isn't really noob friendly. You walk outside and get blasted to death. I dont enjoy it, and its like GK. Where the hell are the dungeouns and ways to make cash??

zodiacs staff is a great example of how it goes on every server.

Novo just quit as head dev. Zodiac is without developers (exact RapidWolve but he is limited to buggery due to his past). The doomsayers were probably right.

Hurray for Yen, he kicks ass, among other things.

If Stefan allows him back on then yes: Zodiac would probably right itself very quickly. I don't see this happening though.

Lets go blow up the pizza shop, that will force him to act.

Given the fact what Yen did do and has recently done, I can't see it happening.

If he didn't do anything malicious I so no reason why not. Especially considering he practically built the place.

Every single damn player told me all the damn time. I know. I just don't think it will happen.

If Yen doesn't come back, I vote Skyld for manager, he already has full Zodiac support. hehe

I love it. I jump on, praise Skyld (no-one knew who he was) and now everyone is ready to support him :D

Zodiac isn't dying kids, it's the same as it has been for a while now.

I seriously doubt that Zodiac is going down any time soon. It is more then capable of holding its own for now (as far as content). I am sure things will be figured out soon.

Well... it's content had been stationary for a while. Now it just can't go anywhere. The players recognize this fact. Unless Stefan steps in and elects new staff peeps, it's going to get worse and worse.

Level 60s already complain about a lack of things to do after all...

I understand that. Hopefully something will be worked out soon. Hopefully Novo will return at least.

I talked to him on AIM...he's pretty adamant about it. If RapidWolve gets full dev rights then maybe. This may be hard considering what happened last time.

I never really cared for Zodiac after it went Classic. They now make us buy skills and we don't get money from killing monsters, but rather selling the parts for like, 1g a piece. I don't care too much if it goes down UNLESS they change back to how it was before the Classic change (and reset for that matter ;D)
It's harder to level now, too.

Even during the short amount of time I worked on Zodiac, Yen tried his very best to bring the server down. He even bribed current staff with USD (won't mention any names) to spawn and hand out tons of items.
