Cool idea for a server!
 

(I'm not saying that this will happen or it is an idea as a server already, it is just assumption to do for a server if you can't think of a theme, please take all regard to this notice.)

I've had this idea ever since I started playing day of defeat, how about a server that is a civil war/ww2/ww1 kind of theme? Like a zone except back then. Then a little more to explain:

There are two teams (EXAMPLES!!!!)
Axis and Allies. Pick your team, class, but this time you start in a camp with a bunch of NPCs giving you tips (You go to camp after choosing your team) there is a little tutorial for newcomers and such. You go out of camp on a car, and into the battle zone.

Battlezone:
You go in, there are sandbags crates and such, people fighting bullets going along, (The battlezone would be fairly small, to create more of action, there are no bases just a deathmatch (If all members on a team die, the winners get EXP/MONEY and the battle is over, you will be transported to where you pick your team.

Picking Teams:
Almost forgot this XD, it will be a normal ground/territory where there is a team A team B NPC you pick it and such.

Guns:
I don't know a lot of guns from this kind of age sorry x.x

How?:
You could actually do this with the scripting of zone, or some people could just make it.

Good luck to whoever thinks this is a good idea, I certainly thought it was an intriguing idea.

Someone tried doing this, Javecross with SoG oh god that was bound to fail and it did.

Yeah, though it was ok at the start lol.
I worked there, it was my first dev job ever ^^

I think most people have about had it with the WW2 theme. I want to destroy anyone who makes another World War 2 anything.
