^^ This one I want to make really good, and I'd like to see different people's styles so I can learn from them. Mine's looking horrible now, and I can't seem to get it to look good. And I'm still debating on a sapphire on the hilt or a cross on the narrow part of the blade. If you go with sapphire I'd like it to get a nice look that seems to belong to the water, or a dark look if you go with the cross.

Ohyes... Icons from the images are a bit weird, the blade expands on both sides before it shrinks..

edit: I'm happy with the new one aside from the blade, an edit on that would be very helpful.

Heres a 2 minute edit... nothing much.. But you should try to up your color count atleast a little bit... try not to make the thing all one color, it reduces from the uniqueness of it. Also, you should try to choose a light source. If you dont know anything about light sources, you can goto www.spriteart.com, there are plenty of tutorials for many different things concerning pixel art techniques. But anyways, here's an edit for ya bub.

You should make the blade on the sword look like metallic mastermind.

Just did this as a quick example of the brushed metal look on a sword blade. Made the hilt a bit more extravagant.

I use the light/darken tool, makes things alot simpler. ^^
It makes the blade look too wide. I was attempting to base it off of this.

Heh...i made an outline out of that sword once.

Extend the handle some, the blade looks really, really short in proportion to the rest of the blade.
Also... ya... you rotated. I'm telling you, you might wanna just suck it up and do the 45 degree's yourself. You're not going to get better if you just keep rotating them.
