Stop people from laming themselves!?
 

In the past people have lamed rates from themselves on a trail account while being double logged on Zone, so I say why not finally take action by asking are kind Scripter to make a script to auto-dissconect people for it.

This is how it will work, it will see if any account matches another IP, Say mine is 192.168.1.26, and it matches mine with a Trail account that is 192.168.1.26, it would auto-dissconect me, and no bans would be put, but it would say, "Do not doulble log on Zone it is agianst the rules.".

Suggestions? Agree or Disagree? Put them here. And the Script would allow RC if they would interfere.

Note to Gambet: I have not asked you but will if enough people think this Idea will work, it is mostly used to stop lamers from getting free kills or rate.

You can also get a bounty from laming a trial, and I'd rather not have a lamer get ANY type of reward for abusing something.

This is a problem, and it SHOULD be a bannable offense people are getting high bountys cause of this. This includes MiniOne(monolord) and Me...

No: Their reasons are not exactly clear, I ask, Why would you doulble log to talk? That makes no sense, one account would be getting lamed while you are chatting unless it was on the dropship and then their is no reason to double log. Also for you that say, No, Could you please tell me how Double Logging is good? And better reasons then chatting that is a good one, but you can easily tell your friends to come to one dropship or team.

Yes: Their reasons speak for themselves, But I say an Auto-Dissconect would be better as, some people will not know this rule and other servers allow it so just make them get dissconected. Although bans could be put in place for people who are constantly trying to get past the "script" (If implemented) several times.

Not possible, even if it was wanted. No way a scripter can check IPs.

I'm sure you could make use of comp id's?

Hmm, dunno if those are accessible via scripts, but ya, I suppose if it is.
It'd be simple though, everytime you log on go through all the players comp ID's and if yours matches them, log you off.

I have deaths over kills, and when I fix that, It'll feel good to see people laming and be able to lol.

Don't fix something this bad now, unless you plan on resetting the current kill/death rates

As for same IP:

A website clientside can generate your IP using the REMOTE_ADDRESS header... Through the use of HTTPRequests...

Nobody has abused it for kills/deaths yet, just for bounty (maybe 200-300 kills tops) or spar rating, I'm all for a spar reset seeing as changes have been made to spar planet.

They have finally, an Account named ******, did that all the time, he would go to an abonadoned planet and kill himself he had 120 Kills and no deaths. He stopped eventually though.
