Mac OS X

short and simple, how do you download the level edditor for Mac OS X?

Crono 05-31-2007 04:38 AM

Doesn't exist.

Novo 05-31-2007 04:47 AM

You download Parallels ( If you have Intel ), install Windows on it... Run Windows as a virtual server, download window's level editor, put Parallels to Coherence mode, and there you go! :)

You don't get Intel. You have Intel. Intel is the computer's processors. Since May 2006, all computer models released by Apple has been Intel-based. If your Mac is relatively new, it'll have Intel. To find out, click on the Apple in the top-left, and click "About This Mac", then if "Intel" is in your "Processor", then you have intel.

If that is the case, I suggest you spend some time at http://www.macupdate.com/ ...

You can download Parallels here:
http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id...allels-desktop

You'll have to 'buy' Parallels, as well as an 'authentic' Windows XP operating system.

Another way is Dual-Boot... In that case... Bootcamp provides this:

http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id...pple-boot-camp

In either case, you require an 'authentic' version of windows xp.

Good luck with your quest: Graal is quite Anti-Mac.

"where do I get intel?"

LOL!

Lets hope he doesn't moan rampantly like that Excal kid did because mommy didn't give him the level editor lolly pop for his gameboy.

There have been many attempts over many years to convince the administration to make development tools for mac users. However, it is the true belief of said administration that using a Mac means you should get less than equal treatment for exactly the same price.

So essentially, you got shammed. Get used to it.

My post was very helpful. It is a real representation of the true essence of this game: Bad administration.

ROFLMFAOQXZ

Graal? Have Mac developer tools? ROFL!

Stefan doesn't give a **** about Macs, he only releases a client so people can play. He says "blah blah blah online level editor blah blah client rc blah blah blah boot camp on intel blah blah parallels blah blah blah blah we have no intel blah blah" and a bunch of other blahs :(

zim5354 06-01-2007 09:59 AM

Why hasn't Excal posted here yet flaming Windows?

Admins 06-01-2007 09:31 PM

Please everyone stop flaming when someone asks a serious question.
Right now there are no level editing tools for the Mac platform, the same goes for Linux. We have invested a lot in making the game client 100% compatible between the different platforms, so with v4 people can play the game on all platforms without any disadvantages. The editing tools are not at that stage yet, although they are becoming better.

Tracker180 06-01-2007 09:34 PM

ok, thanks, that's all I wanted to hear.

Because Excals ass was eliminated by our lovely Darlene quite a while ago.

And thank god for it!

That arrogant prick had too much to say at the wrong times!

So you're saying they're currently in development for Linux (and all distros) and Mac OS X?

Nice to hear.
