I got bored and started doing this, then I got to here and saved in a hope to continue it over a few days??

By the way, I hope to have a city backlit by the moon and some explosions set off to the right. The mage guy you can see will have a darker comlexity and maybe green eyes? :confused:

Anyways.
Before you even work on explosions, make sure they're dull and blend in with the background. Anything too bright or flashing will detract from the main focus point of the piece. As for the guy, you need to redo the bottom of his hair. As I can tell, it's falling onto his shoulders, or it looks like it. This gives a very wrong view that his shoulders are HUGE. Either not let the hair fall out that far from the head, or add some more room at the bottom of the picture so you can clearly show it's not falling onto the shoulder. The head also seems a bit lopsided.

That's not his hair, it's his cloak (Oooohhh Scary, I know xD) but yeah I noticed that before about the shoulders. I'll probably sort that as soon as and then work on his face. Thanks for C&C so far, and as for the Jpeg, I didn't want to save as png incase of quality distortion.

Until you mentioned that it wasn't hair, my first reaction was Dethklok.
