Everybody is getting Weapons...
 

This past week, I won my last even weapon, and then not four days later Sean won Rps. Events are not suppose to be this close, The Bps match shouldn't have even been. So I say for these "Advanced Matches" we should hold off on an Event Next month. Also I finally noticed this, John was not lying and everybody else, Event Weapons are no longer, "Unique".

And since the Player Population is probably 70(Regular Players, Different Time Zones.), then about 17% of the Population has them(12 People).

-The People who are remotley active on Zone and acquired a Event Weapon is how I counted the owners.-

Well I'll add a poll just for the heck of it to see what you guys think we should do.

Edit: I voted for, "Other/Read post" as I do not have a clear action that could work in the situation at hand.

What the? 70 regular players, you mean gold players I've been on Zone all periods of the day and I'd get around 90-100 gold players plus another 100 trials. Before laming these event weapons (excluding reapers) were truly unique but now with the tragic polliferation of laming, zone is know extremly boring. Events for weapons don't get hosted that often most of the time there is around a month or so time between a prize weapon event (not accurate) this was probaly by chance that it happened this close.

I've had my event weapons for quite some time now. Won them ages ago.


I need to win me some BPs, though. :)

Well, I say host off 5 Bps Matches, and then wait a while before hosting more. About a two months-three months, and this would cause people to desire event weapons more, and then when we have an Event they will not only play but will probably bring loads of people to play it.

Edit: Host them off at different times not all at once, Maybe two Weeks-three wrrks apart.

Rps/Reapers aint rare for **** anymore i must agree. Anyway if do want those event weapons that bad they will go to it if the staff posted the time then you gotta be lucky that you're on when it happens.

i must say Restart the thing over. This is gonna make the people who have all/some of them mad but remeber i won them all too. There is just too much noobs winning these things and once starting over make them 1 month only (maybe some surpises)

Why bring loads of people? The more people in your way the less chance you have of winning only noobs would bring more people

I think the event weapons suck dearly anyway. The only good event weapon was Reapers, and thats because it was a melee weapon that you could use while being the engire class, but now you can have carrot so it sucks once again.

I think that you should keep all the original Event weapons, and deem them less worthy event weapons, then make some REALLY rare event weapons. Stuff that is only hosted once every 6 months or something. Something EVERYONE would want.

And no, Bluepistoles/Redpistoles/Reapers are to be hosted ONCE/month. And when I say this, I mean ONE of the THREE hosted ONCE/month. And not by each ET. I mean only once in the entire month by all ETs should the command

/giveitem 1,bp/rp/reapers,accountX
be used...

Elaborate? How is it stupid to limit the amount of event weapons handed out every week? Do you want event weapons handed out like 5 times a week or what?

Before you guys that got hired AFTER the normal ET's, I would suggest talking to Gambet or Stefan about "Rules".

Unless words come from a higher up, I don't really care.

Stefans words were;

Chainsaw - "should be held ~5 times a day"
Red/Blue Pistole - he never said anything about

So as far as I know, If you get event items YOU (the ET) can decide when to host.

And since there were 75 players on (which is pretty much Zones full population), I hosted them off.

You guys care way to much about items. If someone upgrades there account - meaning Graal is making money, they deserve a shot at trying to win an Event item, that will stay with them - Which will make them not want to be a trial - Which once again means they'll be upgradeing - In turn means that Graal will be making more money.

Event Items have been out for 2 1/2 years now, or something like that. More than 12 people should have them.

There are plenty of weapons I've made that can be used for new event items, If our staff had the time to make them.

The solution is just to let the players who already have them compete, and if they win DON'T give it to the second player and DON'T rehost. If they can actually beat the ones who already have them they should get them, if that's every single P2P good for them, at least they earned it. I've been saying this for awhile as well. =\

Why let the players who got them compete if the person who became second can't win them?

The problem: Too many event weapons.
The basic idea: Decrease the amount of event weapons handed out.
My solution: Let the players who have them compete to keep those items rare. This way you won't have people (not naming any names) laming with event weapons making them "newbie".

Or you could just not host a weapon event for a little while? Whats the difference between your idea and simply hosting a prizeless event? You're viewing this from an elitist point of view.

I'm just telling you, don't host off so many items. One red pistole, one bluepistole, and 2000 money between two events?! Thats way to much to host off ESPECIALLY when 2nd place is getting 1000 money...

I think the only actually reason they are good is because of how erratically they shoot and the RP you don't know which way they are shooting...

Its not so bad if you do. The problem is hosting it off for all of the same people a day later. Its kind of unfair to do that to the people who can only play in the morning unless warned otherwise.

honestly I don't believe in the whole premise of event weapons. yes I would like them but I don't argee with the premise on which they are handed out. I would rather it if they could just make it so you could use any weapon in any class for like 2 hours or somethign fun like that instead.

I've stressed to everyone for ages that events are to be hosted less. I stated that they should be only hosted once every month on the 3rd of each month unless there are some special holiday festivals around. From now on, do not host anymore events WITHOUT ASKING ME ABOUT IT. Failure to do so will result in the prizes you have hosted invalid, causing them to be removed from players. If you do not contact me about your events from now on, I will have you suspended. I hope I make myself clear.

However, hosting a maximum of 5 chainsaw events a day is something I am completely fine with.

I don't think they should any Chainsaws until they fix the glitch with them. Ill tell the staff the glitch in pm's if they want it.

Meh, you could host as many chainsaw events a day as you want as long as you have the slots. They only last an hour anyways.

Actually, in that event, he got me kicked when I did NOTHING ILLEGAL. He SAID I teamed, which I did NOT do. Seriously, Zone staff really needs to think about these things. What, if I attack the same person another person is, that's teaming when we NEVER AGREED TO A TRUCE!? The 2nd part, agreeing to a truce, IS teaming, therefor he should have them removed, although I voted "Nothing" :)

second off. stefan gives you the slots for a reason, there your slots, your the et you can host them off whenever you want. if you run out? o well, you wont be getting more until the time they were supposed to be givin out has passed. They are your slots. I am the ET administrator. I administrate the ETs and make sure they do their job properly. You are failing at your duty of being a good ET and over-hosting. I will follow through with my actions if you host anymore RP/BP/Reaper/Money events without consulting me.

If anyone is an ET Admin, it would be Huwajux. Though when Huwajux and I did the ET applications, Vulcan was the one who added Jo's and Ravenblade's rights based on what Huwajux and I agree'd upon.
