GK Staff probleme
 

Well , l think there is already a post like this, but nothing was done about it.

I'm asking to myself why there isn't any staff on GK ?
Why is there no GPs ?
Why is there no FAQ ?
Why is there no admins ?
I dont think its normal to have no staff on a gold server , where people pay
for playing , and they have no staff ...
Every other server got a lot of kind of staff , but not Graal Kingdoms...
l think this server should be in the classic tab lol, or maybe the hosted tab.

You have to make support tickets for these kind of issues. It's funny how I was removed from moderator here and never given the courtesy of an explanation.

I kind of agree, I don't see much point in a GP position on GK though.

There is..mostly me and whatever other EM may be on. Sam is busy and comes on when needed. Bjorn is in the middle of a update to hopefully come soon.

This you would have to ask bjorn on. I couldn't honestly tell you. I do point ppl to help desk if its really needed.

They are trying to get a FAQ team together. Again with the updates coming they been a bit too busy so I answer questions myself if I can.

Again Sam comes on when he's needed and Bjorn is working on a update currently and will pop in from time to time. Mostly I will try to help if I can but always point them to the help desk if its something I can't handle.

Again I will say this. Bjorn's busy working on a upcoming update. Sam will come on when needed. I do however agree that we need staff on everyday at least. I guess I am the closest thing there is when they aren't around and no trouble usually arises anyways. If some does I will point the people to the help desk or I will forum pm Sam and Bjorn myself. They are usually good about coming on to deal with a problem if it arises.

We decided not to hire GP's anymore.
Staff can always contacted by forum PM or support ticket.
At the moment I don't think we need additional FAQ staff, Ravenblade and the other EM's are able to help on request.

No more GP's...hmmm nice. At least I have the rules..heh.

There's no point having GPs if they're inept to deal with problems like scamming, etc.

Even in the past when we had a few people who were able to do this we did not have GP's. I have to admitt that the GP thing was not really a great idea. It always worked without so why shouldn't it now?

much member scamme noob or legal member and after a scammer have nothing because "don't proof" ! Why all staff aren't online for stoped that ?

Because you shall care on your stuff. Don't lend items to others and you don't get scammed.

What about trade tables? If I were to receive an item when someone pressed green on mistake, what shall occour!

If you are a good guy, you will give it back. If not, he has to contact a staff member ;o

Umm if it was a mistake then give it back to them.

If I remember at one point I had heard that you were scamming people.


Anyways plain and simple they decided on no GP's...end of story.

Still i am not very impressed with enforcement, two years ago I reported someone who was posing as staff asking for passwords and "selling" playerworlds. As far as I know I was ignored.

Cross server trading, USDing, scamming, something honestly needs to be done about all of it.

You can pillory him and keep him pilloried until he agrees to give it back.

Even that don't work. Me and Bjorn spent like a hour or so on a guy. I had originally pillored him for scamming someone of their demon shield and when Bjorn was on this person agreed to give it back but when I released him the person did a unstick me and went to the dungeon to hide he demon shield.
Thankfully the rightful owner got it back in the end. But this is a good example of how much pillory can and cannot work.


For now pilloring on us EM's part and reporting them to sam and bjorn I guess is whats going to happen.

If the guy got his item back, then it worked.

The problems that arise in this example come from kid-glove treatment of the scammer. He should have to give you the item right then and there when you let him out or he goes back in the pillory. He decides he's going to hold out until the staff who's on has to go? Too bad for him, he'll have to stay pilloried until he can make an agreement with another staff member.

Yeah I had someone beg me today to let them out of pillory. Told them that they had to serve their time. On friday they massed that they were selling a battleon and RS account. He knows he has to serve his time.

Scammers are banned. If they don't want to be banned they can give it back. If not... then ban.

There is ALOT of contradiction in this thread.

Make items easier to get and there'd be no reason to scam

That won't solve anything.. People will complain because their stuff goes down in value and whats the fun if bjorn and stefan make everything easier.. It's already easy as it is to do a lot of stuff.

If staff can only ask for the player to give back the item, why the hell are Event Staff Pillorying players? They have no right doing that... x-x

Umm according to Sam. We Em's are staff as well. Don't know if you caught that in another topic but he said it.

With there being no GP's on and Sam and Bjorn barely on we EM's are basically the closest thing to GP's. Are we to sit by and let the server degenerate into something that resembles a looting spree after everyone starts to riot? Hell no.

People stop fighting us. We are there to enforce the rules best we can. So what if we pillor you. Staff will be forum pm'd or emailed asap so they can come on and deal with you appropriatly and swiftly so either you can just serve your time and go play again or be banned.

If you want total chaos where nothing nor no one is safe then by all means boycott us EM's having pillory rights. You will wish we had them if you won that boycott.

You keep mentioning this update. Any details on it, other than "Bjorn's working on it?" Because I've been hearing that for a long time. I've been listening to people say "we're updating!" since 2001 and I don't know why I'm still waiting for those updates. :p

Oh and about staff, Kingdoms needs to hire developers to get some stuff added and such.

And whats the deal with this "full time scripting team" Graal hired years ago? What do they ever do?

There is no definite time when the update will happen. So could be by Christmas for all I know.

Bjorn said he had no idea about an update when I asked him on GK today. :D

There definetly needs to be better communication between staf and players.

But, as far as I understand - the administration would like the player to use the support tickets for any problems they have.

Why are people talking about updates anyway? The game channel thing was supposed to be up months ago.
