I want to use my tile set but it wont work in editor x.x
is there like a list of ruels you have to folow to make ur tile set work in editor?
i know it has to be in the graal folder and i know i already have the script for adding it right, but it still wont work x.x

You have to make it a 256 colour, indexed image to work in the editor.

Make sure it's in your "tiles" folder.
Make sure it's 8bit
and finally, make sure it's indexed (pretty much what the guy above me said)

If you have photoshop it should be easy.

It doesn't have to be in the "tiles" folder, It works just fine in the same folder as the level itself.

More to the point, It just has to be 8 Bit (256 Colors) for it to work offline.

If the image is .png, however if you use .gif it will work at first time (Does that for me..)

Keep in mind though that the 256/8-bit rule only applys to offline tilesets.

Also my best advise for getting it to work would be to go into your Graal folder on your computer and into levels/tiledefs/
Find the text file that says tiledefs<your server name here>.txt
Rename that file to tiledefsOffline.txt
If tiledefsOffline.txt already exists, just delete it.
Restart your editor and things should be just like how they are online.

like, i want it to look better...

I suppose you want more colors? Ah... new technology.
Anyways, first, to make sure it's not your script and it's your image. Just pop an NPC in the level and set the image of the NPC as the tileset. If the image is correctly saved and will work in editor, it will load. If it loads, but doesn't add the tileset, it may be your script.
To clear it up, first delete tiledefsoffline.txt in your tiledefs folder, and try the script again.

As for more colors in an indexed png. You can't... but. You can add the tileset template as the tileset, and divide the tilesets into different parts, and add them via addtiledef2.

The actual game supports better quality. Make a 8bit version for the editor and a higher quality one to use online.
