Problems with UDP

I've been having some problems with UDP lately.

Whenever I uncheck it it seems that when I swing my sword it doesn't go through. When I uncheck UDP, I can stand there and swing and ask if I am swinging sword and a majority of players say no. When I check it, It's perfect.

This is a problem for me, because my internet is already slow, even with UDP unchecked which I can't do because of this problem.

Any ideas to fix this?

Keep the option checked because its faster anyways maybe?

I'm always told unchecked for sparring.
