Item eggs released
 

Happy Easter everyone.
About 20 hours ago we already enabled the egg digging and also the egg throwing on Event island.
You can catch as many running eggs as you like to. We might do something with them later in a small event, too. But with 3 of them you can get some items from the shop in Hotaru. This shop is going to be opened later this evening by Stefan. For now we got something else.
All over Main island are some special eggs. These go directly into your inventory if you find them and look like usual eggs. You don’t have to catch them. It is possible to open them and in these special eggs you can find nice items. It is limited you can only dig out 1 of these special eggs. Here is a list of special eggs I put all over main island. This includes the sub islands of main, “Hotaru” and the “Far Away Island”.

You are able to find:

• 3 x Scrolls of Houserenovation
• 3 x Scrolls of 2nd floor
• 3 x Scrolls of Housecellar
• 1 x Waraxe
• 2 x Flamingicedagger
• 1 x Golden Bracer
• 1 x Shield of Hammorogue
• 1 x Demon Shield
• 1 x Phoenix Shield
• 1 x Phoenix Helmet

This event was not well planned, there is little chance that anyone will find one while searching the g-map and only being able to dig 2x2 sqaures, i don't have the right calculations but i know it'll take months for all 17 to be found.

Actually it seems the "finding" area is a lot higher than 2x2.

Lol, I don't think so. 2 minutes after I announced it I got the first pms about problems digging up the special eggs. (This is fixed now. Some problem with GS1, GS2).
It is not impossible. But if you dig around bomboria only it is lol

It was prolly a good event that i wasn't lucky in. Most of the prizes were found.

That's really dumb actually.


You bury 17 eggs across a huge gmap and tell people to start digging everywhere. That's not fun at all and makes no logical sense. You're making people waste their easter digging up every spot in the overworld just to find these eggs. It's ridiculous.

The reason people will waste there time is because the prizes are well worth the time.

Nobody forces anyone to do anything: If such logic was put into place, they may as well start digging the eggs in a week if they wanted.

If you don't appreciate it, you are allowed to not mention a thing for by mentioning it, you, too, waste your easter on moot points instead of enjoying it. By your own logic, you are acting "ridiculous".

I don't plan on doing the hunt, I'm just giving an opinion based on what was posted in this thread. It doesn't matter to me, I won't be wasting my time regardless of what they do. That's the glory of the first amendment, you get the freedom of speech.


It's senseless and lazy to just bury items in a vast overworld and tell players to dig everywhere and pray that they find something. It would be nice if a more organized event were held rather than taking the lazy way out of it.

I wonder... What are you doing right now?

Is it possible that people who dug up the "glitched" eggs before the bug was fixed "destroyed" eggs or disqualified themselves?

one of them i saw but only ate it o_O, i did not use any nets they went strait into my invatory but they were not the special eggs o_o what up with that?

It will give a different message when you get a special egg. There are still 3 special eggs available. I hope you had fun :D You could either get regular eggs and buy one of the easter items, dig for the special eggs, or take part in the new events where only certain weapons are allowed, or take part in fighting vs bunny lords when they are spawned.

Raven's dig event for Infernal Dagger was fun. Everyone got a prize and had a chance to get Infernal Dagger and it was not time wasting.

I would have enjoyed the easter dig-up event more if were more organised and clues were given. Easter isn't a time for people to spend 2 hours digging endlessly.

i agree there should ahve been like riddles or something

If everyone were to get a prize it would be fun. Most players probably didnt see this thread and therefore didn't know about the event. Or atleast I didnt. And since Im not sure if anythings left, and what they are, I won't waste my time with it.

I'm with Gambet on this one. They could have been burried around a certain town or something. My guess is that if no one finds whats left (if there is anything left?) the items will sit there, until some day someone digs there and finds them.

Everyone actually gets something. You have to dig somewhere to get at least a normal egg to get an item from the shop. And this 3 times. So I don't understand what some of you want. If you find an special egg during that time be happy. If not you give up and do nothing that way anymore or try to find some special egg and get more normal eggs. And like I said maybe you can do something with the eggs you have left later, too.
It's not wast of time at all and the things you can get are worth it, besides you are lazy and just want to log on and get the items automatically added!

And there's no way to keep tabs on what items are left and so forth.


It's very disorganized.

The special egg's had some really good items in like the Shield of Hammorogue. If they made it really easy you might have found some guy who has just got gold having a really rare shield.

Tower shield has reflect arrow not Hammorogue.

I enjoy the fact that something is being done to at least give new folks a shot at attaining wealth more quickly.

And yet the new guys are complaining about it because they didn't win anything.

I agreebut it was a bit of a wild goose chase around the map, perhaps if the items had been buried in a smaller area people wouldnt have complained. But yeah, atleast something is being done to try and help out so thanks

Probably would have been worth having the special eggs on events island.

Less of a challenge for rare prizes sure is a cop-out idea.

All in all it was a reason to keep digging. I dug a ton of normal eggs and let them run around but it was the fact that i wanted this special egg that kept me going. I damn near collapsed (in character) when I found one.

xD i actualy got something, to bad it was a scroll for a house...WICH I DONT HAVE xD oh wells at least i got something after 4 hours x_x
