Are there enough ETs in da house?
 

We need more people who can regulate the hackers that go around on Zone.
This morning at about 7:10 EST a person nicknamed Hellboy account Acewind1, went around using a walk through walls hack; unfortunately no one could do anything because there are no ET's alive at this time of day, yet hackers seem to be around.
I am not proposing I be ET, but someone who is available at this time who renews their P2P would be nice.

Well I wasn't on this morning but generally if i catch them they go in my profile to be locked/banned. Huwa is on sometimes around that time though isn't he?

if you have a hacker problem you dont need ET you need GP

Our ETs are our GPs.

Not much people would qualify for ET anymore, i mean the most people i would think would qualify don't play anymore. Or play rarely. Like Ixi or Touya.

I think that more ETs isnt a necesaty, but then again, how could it hurt?

I personally don't think IXI is qualified for ET.

Mleh, i dunnu, if you think your qualified for ET, what make you think you deserve it more than him? Hes played longer, hes more experienced, hes not an egomaniac (anymore) and he knows the players a lot better :D.

And no where not voting IXI for ET, i said that i think he would have been a good ET, but he left zone, remember??? Not many people are in a rush to be ET anymore, i think you are the only one who wants a staff possition other than sean now, John did too but he left :P. I want to be Dev staff for zone but i dont think they need any anymore, seeing as they got Gambet back and stuff.

You're not, but he is infact the GP With the banning rights.

He wouldn't be classed as GP though, he would be classed as Dev staff, Dev is a higher rank.

Well, Vulcan wouldn't give me a chance because I bugged the happy out of him, that's why when you see Vulcan running around with a frown, it's because of me. :)

I could say a lot of things about Vulcan.. But i wont, i don't bash staff on the forums much anymore, anyway Vulcan would have no part in your hiring i think, because he barely plays zone as it is.

Well, Gambet hates me, and so does Vulcan.
Jesse won't want me to be staff because he likes his wang. (my nickname...owtf)
Dark just thinks I'm immature and refuses to see past that, same with the other staff.

The ET's are not the problem. We only have the power to "lock" players. And while those players are locked, other players see them hacking on dropship, and ask "hey how are you doing that" and then the hackers tell that player, and it goes on down the list. If we had the power to "/jail" someone or ban them, Zone would not be having these problems.

But with hackers being able to talk while locked, and auto-unlocked after 1 hour, theres not to much we can do.

I say add another command, One which is specificly designed for Hackers/Glitchers.

-This would make the Account, Unable to have Chat, And also unable to move, They would be in place, Until someone, Unfreezes them.

either ideas would be good, but not banning, ET's should never have the right to ban, mayby jail, but not ban. also make sure that they can only send PM's to staff

this stuff would be nice along with mute.

Huwajux was banned for hacking, look at him now. (Though he did hack for a good reason [to kill other hackers].)

Well, on Maloria, there was a /silence one, I think Gambet wrote the code, not sure.
Maybe if you ask him nicely he will use his....scripting, to solve your problem.

I was wonderinghmmthat.. Maybe. If the freeze thing worked out.. You could also have either another code that sets there nicknames (Its an easy code to make) or a banner to go over there head when there frozen.. Something saying like.. "Dont feed the noob" or "Noob in time out"
