Well a first step would to not save your pixel art as jpeg :).
To make sure the shape of your can is consistent with each other on the top and bottom, it'd probably be best to draw the circle of the top and copy and paste it for the bottom. One thing that's driving me nuts is how the sides of the can aren't evenly-aligned with the sides of the circle.
Also, pure gray is almost never good, try to put even the smallest of saturation in there. And full saturated colors=pain on the eyes.

Here's a quick edit I did. Just note the changes I made, I added shading, and made sure to try to keep consistent with the light source I chose. The anatomy on the hand probably isn't right, I dunno, I never took any anatomy class or studied it aside from holding up my own hand. It's a pretty basic edit though, as the can is pretty boring and I didn't add too much to make it interesting.

ok here is something i am taking a lot more seriously. how is this a start for a castle like building. I use paint to make the basic stuff then photoshop for textures. I head paintshop pro is good to make graphics with. Just advice please

Personally I use 80% paint and 20% photoshop. Photoshop is good for touchups and giving your graphics some contrast/bright tweaks and flare. Paint is so easy to use for copying and paste image parts without having to go into index mode or merge layers.

100% paint...too bad im lazy as all hell.

I found the most effective method was to simply not pixelate anymore.

I dont know why you talk so much, your only decent in pixel art when grouped with the graal community. Your still mediocre compared to the rest of the world.

He just does it to inflate his ego balloon, more than the enjoyment side of it.

I use 100% Paint, not because its a skill but because i cant use photoshop for crap and would love to be able to. But i am learning.

Also, i like your archway, id work on like 3 bricks and texture them. Then place them together, do the bricks first ^_^ lego stylee
