More Land

... i think as era grows in ppl wise the city should grow ... i also had an idea that would be like when u go to a new city it would load instead of having all of the data loading at once...

...... no ......

We already tried extending the city and people didn't like it.

p.s. this isn't Grand Theft Auto

Usually the goal of a game is to rid of loading, not make it load on purpose. Why would you want that?

Sum41Freeeeek 03-21-2007 02:05 PM

A new city? If Era were to have additions made to the gmap I doubt they would make a whole new city.

LCM1380 03-21-2007 05:20 PM

I say yes
You start in the main city, then you have to go and explore to find differant cities, Go on the train for 5$ and it could take you to a differant city, Maybe the Gangs could be in differant cities?

You could use a Ferry to take you to differant cities aswell

Spreading the server thin will never work. I mean, it may look nice at first, but it will just turn into a lot of wasted effort because in the end people will just stay in one city. The time could be better spent on other things. Of course everyone likes a new place to go check out at first, but the novelty wears off fast.

Not needed. People don't even spread out on Era to begin with man. Sides, the south city is basically an extension.

Southridge overall is just one big storage area, kind of like a dump, haha.
People buy houses and store their **** there, BUT you can just buy a hotel room/appartment for 5x cheaper and store stuff there without the long walk.

overall, SR is useless.

It's useless to have a good looking home?

I love when people keep churning out the same old ideas over and over and over again.

everyones coming up with ideas for era... here are some:
1) quit making weapons that are almost unbeatable and impossible for ordinary players to get (katanas for one, im glad to see they dissappeared)

2) quit disabling common weapons (all the uproar with the tommy gun and k180s)

3 and possibly the best one) quit resetting! you reset to 'improve' the server, but it doesnt even improve the economy for a little bit, and then it causes players to leave and then you brainstorm ideas to get the those players back, decide resetting to start the economy over will work, then you keep going over and over in a cycle :(
