Hey were did all the staff go??

- FAQ : There is nobody to ask questions to
- Devgroup : Still bugs are not being fixed
- GKManager : Where is he when you need him
- GP : Yann was the last active GP and he quit
- EM : Ravenblade is getting flooded with things to do, can't keep up

Well, true. Bjorn is never on when you need him. And yes, Yann was the only Active GP. I agree they need more GP's and possiby more EM's but lots of people will argue against that.
And the bugs.. don't get me started. I could throw down a list of atleast 10 bugs right now.

Think about that.. The pictures of people who have gone missing.. Probably killed by a serial killer. And you put milk on your cerial. Think about it.

hmm FAQ...i get asked questions. I tried to start up a guild called Ravens Wing but got rid of it after Tig went after ppl in my guild. Basically we were to help ppl with the knowledge we have.

Devgroup..i think someone said it best "they are players and don't get paid to do the work" but still they need to fix bugs.

GKManager: Bjorn...who knows..probably busy testing somethings.

GP: Paul!o is the last active one and he's on hiatus. I am the closest thing these ppl got.

EM's: I am not the only one. There is Proto and Kyden but they host at a different time of day.

I agree, something does need to be done about the inactivity of staff. But when questioned they always respond with something along the lines of "im busy doing something else, I dont have to log on every day" :oo:

I am not putting Sam down, I really like Sam imo he does a really good job :)

Yeah Sam does what he can. Right now though he's still on vacation..he's back on the 4th.

Yea, he always helps me with anything that I need, people do say bad stuff about him but they really have no idea what they're talking about!:mad:

Anyhow, the idea about FAQ, perhaps some FAQs could be hired for GK? They would have to be old, old players who have played for atleast a few years. But really I think this would help a lot and bring more players back who in the past didn't know what to do

First Bjorn would have to say yes then Stefan would. Its hard to get Bjorn to say yes to anything.

Or you can just bypass him and go straight to the top ^^

Obviously FAQs wouldn't have any special rights, no RC, no warp powers just the tag. I know that a lot of GK players would be power hungry and only want to be FAQ because of bonuses they get, however these FAQs would get nothing so only the real dedicated ones would apply. this means we will get better helpers

Yeah that was pretty harsh of Tig. I mean, people were saying that the guild could be used to trick people into being staff, but that makes no sense.. There here to help and thats all.

Well I had changed the name and put in the credo that we werent' staff. Reason why I named it Ravens Wing.

hmm... why not just reward helpfull acts? like give people 250 plat for say teaching a trial to farm :D

I think the Casino idea is good. But Bjorn will probably shoot it down. (So far he's ignored it even after it was pointed out a lot of times by Raven).
I actually Think Stefan will like the casino idea. And if they get the players to make it. They won't have to worry about it.

well actualy that would make people get abusive when the person dosn't understand something their trying to say... hmm

FAQ,You can ask every staffmember. But we are planning to hire people for a FAQ team.
Dev, you can not really see them if you don't get on Debug.
GK Manager, just send Stefan a forum pm or submit a support ticket.
GP, none anymore.
EM, actually there.
If you want something from me directly send me some forum pm or an AIM message (At least 8 hours a day on AIM and always on Skype).

I have no idea how often I should mention it, I'm not manager. Stefan is manager.

Yeah, that's true. The thing about helping is noobs is that they don't want to be helped with infomation. They just want free weapons/armour. And there trials so they can't use them after they log off. Like I mentioned before. There should be a pop up as soon as they log on saying what they can and can't do and possible a link to a guide for the starter quests and a few tips.

Yeah the trial island, thats something which I tried to get back a while ago. It was much better than what the trials have at the moment, it actually gave them more of a feel of what GK actually is. whereas now they can just walk around a small part of bomb before they get warped back

The trial island had everything. A mine, a full island to explore. Mosters. Shops, blacksmiths. Everything. You could make weapons/shields aswell.
The Trial island made me go p2p.

I would like to see some bugs fixed and maybe atleast one active staff members. Infact, most of what I wanted to ask... I've allready forgotten by time I get to see someone, and I Have debug. This is even worse if you don't have debug access.

Yes GK needs more active staff the other day Isplash was on the top of a trade table AFK all day and when he came from AFK he went into MMT back room and stole all the chests so we really need some more GP's

I'd like to stress the inactivity of Bjorn on Debug aswell. I've got lots of things to do debug for Pirates, and I need the right folders to do it.
So far Bjorns only give me, Inside, castle and ship yard.
I need the pirate gmap so I can work on that and I need the images folder because Alan's asked me to fix some gfxs.

We need a new GP. Fast. Someone we can all trust. Someone who will enforce the rules.

No single lat of a kingdom has rights to the .gmap file, only to the pirates_*.nw files so you should do, too.

Only GFX get gfx folders. If someone else wants to test new GFX upload them to test. Everything can be uploaded to testfolder and will replace all of the stuff in the other folders. It always worked quite fine that way.

Reminds me...Bjorn is there another place I can email you the MMT Level?

That's a bit weird to say the least. Alan's asked me to work on the pirates gmap. Making a new town ect. Being a Pirate LAT I should have access to all levels including the gmap. After all that's part of the pirates levels.
And i've made new GFX's. Like the weapons rack for the new pub Alan asked me to make. It was supposed to be uploaded with the Pub but never was.

Since the average population of GK is under 40, I think the FAQ, GP, and EM jobs should merge into one. There's not a whole lot to GP about and it's good to have a GP around for events when you're hosting one.
