My island! (Manually done!)
 

My first attempt at manually designing and making an island. Well...first real gmap actually. So far I have the outline ^^. I'll be expanding that bay area and adding a wharf/dock.

This island will definitely be ruined in phase 2: detailing.

level gen doesn't do **** that looks like that.

level gen sucks with cliffs.

Yeah, level generator is only good for its outline... Need to fix it yourself.

Reminds me of the coast of Norway, what are they called? Fjords?

Lol nah. I saw that the island was incredibly square so I redid the outline level by level ^^.

I find the best way is to level gen the design and completly re-cliff it. Alot of people who do it level by level always end up with sqaure islands. (brings back bad memeorys of the MHX isle) But certainly a nice looking isle, good job :) your latting skills are increasing.. watch out ;)

only good thing the level gen is good for in my opinion.
