Trinity: Oakdale City
 

Previously named, Codenamed: Black. Oakdale City is going to be a modern server unlike the others. Now before the flaming begins, take out all your thoughts about moderns and their 'urban' or 'ghetto' settings. The overall theme will depend on the players selected 'style', which will include styles from a hip-hop setting to a punk-rock setting based on whatever the player desires. (e.g, People (iNPCs*) of your 'set' wont treat you the same as they would to their own 'set').

*iNPC is short for interactionNPC, in which you will see many of them throught the server, some of them are looking for you to help them with jobs, some just want to talk or trade. There will be a vast array of things these 'iNPCs' want to do for you. ** I developed this system for Icarus, but the playerworld died so I will be releasing it in Oakdale, if you want a preview of how they will work just logon to Playerworld69 and go to the post office and talk with one of them, or the information center.

punk rock setting? whats next, emoville?

i dont see why people just don't make modern servers MODERN. where are all the skyscrapers, the big malls, colorful interiors?

what the hell does a punk rock setting look like anyway? i didnt know punk rockers had their own "hoods"

Im guessing when he says punk rock setting, that he might mean run down terrains or something...just a guess

Maybe like some NPCs with long shabby hair looking like a punk? Dunno :D the idea around this server is a nice one, there are some cool things which are planned. I'll be watching this space :p
