Reviving Epsilon Clan

A few years ago, a Graal Kingdoms only guild was created called Epsilon Clan. The guild was made for the elite population of Kingdoms so that they would have a place to hang out and discuss important matters away from the general public. This "secret location" was the trapdoor on the island at the center of main. To get in you had to have either good gear, good stats, many hours, or a friend in the guild. Otherwise, you were classified as a slave, and were not granted access to the clan house until proven worthy. My suggestion is that we should revive Epsilon Clan (I am the last remaining active member of it, it was disbanded though), and get access back to the hideout (which had a secret song to get into, only official members knew it). Vote and discuss, staff would need to approve as well.

Draenin 02-17-2007 06:48 AM

Now we all know where to attack your hideout.

Googi 02-17-2007 06:49 AM

If by "the elite population of Kingdoms" you mean "a few bigshots and USDers who managed to get favours from their staff buddies".

garglius1 02-17-2007 06:53 AM

Not everyone who has good gear USDs. Some people do, but if you have 20 hours and top gear, obviously you know nothing of the game (unless you made a new account or something) and would probably not know of Epsilon Clan anyways.

I'm not saying that "everyone who has good gear USDs" or even "everyone who was in Epsilon Clan USDs", I'm saying that Epsilon Clan had USDers in it (mostly, as I recall, USD sellers.)

garglius1 02-17-2007 02:38 PM

For sure there were USDers in Epsilon, if you look anywhere in Kingdoms there will be USDers. Also the sisterhood was all part of Epsilon, and well, they were of questionable nature. I'm just trying to reinstate a really cool guild that had a really cool clan house, so that higher level people have better stuff do do than idle in Bomb Trade or build spell traps in front of the Trading Post. The clan house was cool, and if I could be allowed to do so, I could add a few levels to it, so that it becomes even more interesting.

If said group is brought back, what would be the overall requirements, Garglius?

Would like to know myself. But for all intents and purposes I wouldn't join. Probably a good number would be usders and scammers.

jonnyrocks2 02-17-2007 04:26 PM

Ah yes, just remembered that issue...Ratty little scammers and USDers. =/

Stromstedt 02-17-2007 06:19 PM

This would promote scamming and USDing to get into the cool guild, therefore I vote no :(

Ravenblade1979 02-17-2007 06:21 PM

I really could care less. Would just make them easier to find for staff. Would bring down a hard eye watching them.

Gothika 02-17-2007 06:27 PM

The trap door and the secret song was used in a christmas quest 2 years ago. The song is no longer secret.

Why would anyone USD on a server that has like 30 players...

Holy ****, well said :P

lordbosh 02-18-2007 01:19 AM

Epsilon was a bunch of newbs who jagen flirted with, they usd'd and made the game a reeking pile of manure. Bring this back and ill burn it down again.

And you can count on it.

MasterNuke 02-18-2007 01:37 AM

Epsilon Clan was made out of boredom. There was no real meaning to it. How would I know? I was in it.

Stephen 02-18-2007 01:53 AM

If you want a elitist high-brow guild I'm going to have to lead it.

But you kinda don't meet the requirements.

lordbosh 02-18-2007 09:44 AM

he forgot to put wanna be in front of it, that would fit him best

BigBear3 02-18-2007 07:24 PM

I vote yes! Because I'm bored.

garglius1 02-19-2007 04:43 AM

Requirements probably wouldn't be too high. 500 Hours or Level 50. Item requirements would be pointless and promote USDing, as was stated. As for the song, it was changed for the xmas event, it isnt the same as the original Epsilon Clan song. And if Ed would devote himself to it, I find he would be a good candidate for leading it, he was an original member and has more than enough experience to lead it

No no... you don't understand. We didn't do anything at all except hang out somewhere.

What's wrong with hanging out?

My point exactly, it would give us somewhere else than Bomb Trade to hang out, and we would have earned our right to hang out there.

ReBorn_Spirit 02-19-2007 03:21 PM

This seems like one of them ideas that just don't really belong. Maybe we should focus on getting a few new maps on GK for some battle event between kingdoms instead. Could even put those lame levels to use in some fort then, so everyone can actually use them. Of course Bjorn and Stefan would have to review the levels so you people don't put in any bad scripts.

MasterNuke 02-19-2007 07:11 PM

Ugh. You don't understand. I'd like to explain it to you personally, garg. Part of the explanation isn't meant for the public.

Jagen told me the song to it. I was never in the Epsilon Clan. Apparently just leet people like me also knew the song

On another note:
If this were to be revived, simple requirements to join such as 500 hours or level 50 are too generalized. You should have to really be an oldbie not just some idiot who logs on GK and idles all day and night because the Gserver won't disconnect you. I could get 500 hours very easily if I was on 24/7, seven days a week.

Anything that can potentially get some activity going.

And for gods sake, attack a kingdom if it happens.

jonnyrocks2 02-22-2007 06:33 PM

If thats true, then I'd so be in. >.>

I've been buzzin since 1999 man...Come on now. =p
