Delteria Dev is gone

When you removed the overdue servers, you also removed Delteria Dev. A bunch of our staff team just kicked in some money to re-up the server and now it's down. We weren't supposed to be down yet:

BTW, please don't tell me to make a support ticket. We all know that takes much longer than just doing this, and it isn't as if this section is littered with crap.

Why you guys paying for two servers. Whats the point?

Infernix 02-08-2007 07:05 AM

Classic servers are completely free and they do not have to pay for them. Which is one reason every server wants to make classic.

zell12 02-08-2007 08:33 AM

I see. So why are they paying for a server they really don't need?

Admins 02-08-2007 01:39 PM

Delteria Dev has been closed by the normal system though, it's 180 days.
Classic servers get free hosting since they bring us (some) money, but dev servers are not free.

Put two adverts in pms (maybe trials/classic accounts) and you could make more money >_<. I'd sign up for ingame ads if players were to gain something.

You don't get it. It was closed a day early.

1. Delteria is not enabled for GScript2, and enabling it would deem most of the world unusable.
2. It allows us to develop and test scripts without disruption of normal server activities.

Perhaps check the coding for the "Billing Due" portion of Graal.net? It claimed 1 day left when it went down.

I don't see it being a huge deal, I just can't renew the server until all the checks clear through Paypal.

zell12 02-08-2007 10:33 PM

Hmm, what about having something like another NPCServer on the same playerworld? Probably more to it to work, but you get my point I hope. :p

Devil 02-09-2007 01:30 AM

Yeah it's a shame this was closed a day before the money was due, that's a real shame.

Does it REALLY matter? It's only one day. Actually, it's less than a day.

Curt1zzle 02-09-2007 01:34 AM

As far as billing purposes goes, yes, it is a big deal. He had a day left, he deserves that day. They could have used that day for backing up, etc...or paying for more time.

Devil 02-09-2007 01:34 AM

You pay for something, and get ****ted on in every way? Nah, it DOES matter.

Mykel 02-09-2007 04:28 AM

Yes, as stated, it does matter. Can it easily be resolved? Yes, I'm sure it can. But that isn't the point at all.

It was not closed 1 day before, the billing display 1 day even if you have 2 hours left before the end.

Graal.net wont let Graal X upgrade.

Riot 02-11-2007 03:04 AM

Maybe it should show hours when it gets below a day? It would also be nice if it emailed you before your hosting gets suspended to remind you payment is due.

Also, please check my support ticket about my billing issue..

Devil 02-11-2007 03:07 AM

Supposedly emails are sent out numerous times.

Riot 02-11-2007 03:17 AM

I got an email that told me its payment was due and it was suspended at the same time. I also got an email saying it was due the next day at the same time as the other ones.

Devil 02-11-2007 03:26 AM

Was it that hard for you to check how much time was remaining yourself?

Riot 02-11-2007 03:41 AM

No, but I shouldn't have to. Especially since it does not tell you what time you registered the server on the billing information page.

It's not hard to write a script that says "Payment due in x hours"

Admins 02-12-2007 12:50 AM

Well right now the server is suspended, and you can resubscribe easily. If you need the content on another server you can still contact us.

It is also not hard to write the information down, or leave yourself a reminder on your computer. Use your brain.

Tom 02-12-2007 01:55 AM

Ah well, atleast we can get it back up soon. Its a really good quality server, stefan or unix, you should really check it out sometime.
