GP's for the kingdoms...will there be any
 

I would hope that Bjorn would hire some soon. I would gladly volunteer as a temp gp...that is if one of the two ppl who have to say yes wouldn't be bad about it. I made my mistakes and learned from them. Give me a second chance.

More GPs need to be hired, i've already said this to Sam but he said Bjorn and Stefan both have to agree to it :(

Yeah and Bjorn don't like to trust too many people.

We have no gp's currently. Yann quit and Paul moved to his dad's and isn't online.

The average player on GK is 30-40, No GP need to be hired..unless the GP suck, they can handle 40 players =/.

You dont understand... there is NO gp... the GP Admin just quit and the only other GP wont be back for quite a while, the only other people that are really online who can do anything are Sam and Bjorn but they shouldnt have to deal with GP work, they have enough to do already

So Stephen gets to be gp...whoopie..i put him on ignore the second he said he took my spot. I really don't care. I wanted to volunteer to be temp gp till bjorn found a new one and he did..end of story.

And Kingdoms didn't have GP's for awhile...That is true the player count is 30-40 unless "*Stefan" or "dnd" (lmao...) is on then it jumps to a big 60. I find GPs worthless on GK...The only people with open/view/set attr on Kingdoms should be the admins personally...

Lol they get their work done fine. They have their debug server where they can "escape". Plus What do GPs do in GK? I mean if you get scammed its your own fault...They created Market Tables for a reason... "Hey can I try out that weapon!" "SURE!" "OMFG YOU SCAMMED ME?>!?!?!" ....wow

hehe...I mean a GP is understandable but only the major staff should have view/set self/other attr...I mean when Lance was staff...The fool was giving out NPCs left and right...He was running around with all his fancy gear...

So umm i hear we need another gp and that I am getting blamed for stephen being fired. Odd isn't it.

I am always very cautious about picking GPs...I think we need to make a VERY thorough search of any prospects. I especially hate people who can change attributes of players and fall for tricks of people being "scammed" when they never were.

GK works on a mudlib system, items aren't stored in attributes.

Obviously. When I said attributes I was refering the the term as it means in english, not the Graal definition of it (meaning any item, stat, or whatever of the player).

GPs can't access the players literal attributes. Only Administrators.

GPs shouldn't have the right to edit players items, etc. They should be there to take complaints, investigate the issues, and provide punishment.
Stefan needs to get someone in there that's able to be binded by a strict contract or something, to be able to do administrative duties, such as editing players items...

It was mentioned in this and quite a few other thread alsready. Why do people still keep on talking about "GPs shouldn't have the right to edit players items" ?
They don't do have such rights. But it always sounds like you guys still think they would have these rights.

Dude I was a GP at one point. I could never edit players items. I didn't have the rights and neither did any other GP on graal kingdoms. The only thing we could do is listen to complaints, investigate them and as you said dish out punishment. Where your getting this diluded fairy tale from I would like to know.

I think there needs to be more. The fact that the players have pretty much no one to turn to that's accessible doesn't look good on the game.

I think what they are going for is more player oriented looking after each other type of thing. But with the iSplash's and scammers and stuff out there we are failing. Yes we could whine and complain about the staff not doing their job although as mentioned that other then 5 ppl the rest work for free basically.

I say that we the players start doing something. Complaining isn't helping so why not take matters into our own hands. I hounded one GoldenWarrior57 for i think 3 weeks straight and I haven't seen him in ages. He was a scammer and I made sure people knew.

There is still the support center to report such ppl, but you need good proofes and witnesses would also be good. And dont forget we do not punish someone who stole you a diamond you put on the ground or so...

That is one thing they don't seem to understand. They even whine about monster drops that someone takes just wandering by.
