Finally got our day/night balanced. :) These are some snapshots of the server late at night, showing off the new fire effects and lighting and also the new train! (this is as dark as it gets, so I hope you can make things out or your monitor might be too dark :p)

I'm currently working on tying in the weather system (that Beholder is scripting) so that it will automatically control weather so that it rains on rainy days and whatnot. We are fixing up levels like crazy... once Contiga gets done rescripting the systems we will be able to tackle things one by one, like each event and job and quest and all of that good stuff. :)

I also noticed the Jatt Kult umbrella, etbs work no doubt.

I think they should actually look like railroads... :P I-Beam type tracks, railroad ties, etc... Mabey have them go through the trees, instead of on top of them? Either way, it is still good. I like them as is, but maybe experiment a little bit koni.

The reason they go over trees is the same reason they go over cliffs. It allows players to access an area that was not accessible by walking.

Yeah I thought about it but then I think it would take away too much from original 2k1. Railroad tracks play a huge part in the look of a lot of levels... If I altered the images too much it would completely change the level. We're already doing that enough as it is. (what with the tileset/level redesigning) :p
