RP Server
 

I always thought GK to be a RP server. Nobody RPs anymore and it upsets me because I'm so geefed to RP everytime I log on. !pissed!

Kyden stop it with your "lolrp". It's the only enjoyment left in this game. Getting gear is pointless because there is nobody to PK. And even if you do, you don't need gear, you just need a high level and a weapon. Armor class is pointless because everyone has at least level 50 phys.

I suggest that the kingdom leaders should all inforce RP rules. It would make more RPers and make less ignorant, unintelligant sounding, pieces of **** newbs.

I have been in Pirates all of my Graal Kingdoms left and when i have been on kingdom tag we always RP.

Same here, I've been in CP for almost 3 years and there is always lots or RP.
When people like Alan, Chris and Zeltino come on tag the RP gets really intesting and we get all the "newbies" to RP aswell.
Alan really encourages RPing and we all host RP events to keep peoples RPing skills fresh.

Remind me to join u next event. It barely happens in Dustari although i am trying to motivate people.

I think RP is sometimes a good thing but I dont like it when some people use it all the time... (you know who I mean) It would be nice for people to RP more when fighting and stuff but when sitting in the trade room I really done see the point. Being in CP in the past I know that they try to RP while on tag but I have never noticed any effort in other kingdoms, I always see the kingdoms leaders saying thing like "u, r, teh" and all that rubbish it really annoys me when people can't be bothered to type the real word :O

RP events are like forcing it. Most people only join for the prize they might get just for being there. This game's playercount is too limited to be a PK type game. There are the really strong people and the really weak, and almost nobody in between.

Did anyone do it to begin with?

I agree with you there. People only do them for the prizes and not fun. I used a rubbish prize no one would enter. I use good prizes. (worth 100 dias each) and there is always 3 prizes in my events.
And lots of people show up for them.

Level 50 huh, explain to me why they removed the party system. Why my Physical level is 22, and why I cannot follow Brigid anymore.

I'm level 36 last I checked, not everyone knows it, but RP would be nice, just all concerned about levels and power playing. It would help if we had events to keep players around to RP with. I agree, People like Kyden should shut up and be nice for once and just try to play the game without power playing through it all.

Forest is supposed to have RP rules and guidlines that are to be followed. If you really want to RP, I know you should be able to join Forest and atleast see someone trying to have some level of RP.

You might want to try and rephrase that. I do enforce RP and nobody really complains. If you can't be nice to your kingdoms members while asking them to RP some, you really shouldn't be a Kingdom leader then should you.

Again I'd love to see a graphical report of "GK Dying". Oh and about 2 or 3 years ago, on GK, Every kingdom enforced RP, as a matter of fact I know atleast 2 kingdoms still have the very same rulls. (Forest and Pirates)

To be exact, there are not enough Events to really keep players entertained. I suppose if I could managed to keep my graal client stable long enough I could talk to the kingdoms to get some mini events going.

My events are usually CP memebers only, that way I know the people who are in don't mind to RP.
I missed the old days. When we would have joint kingdom events. Such as little RP boat wars with each other.

I do believe a lot of people "tried" to RP long ago, but there were also a lot of *****s that ruined it with their bs.


Anyway, I think the servers dead really. Time for a change. I barely see more then 10 people on it at a time.

Where have you been looking? I see upto 50 people+ everything night.

It doesn't take a genious to notice the playercount of GK always being so low, specially compared to 2003/2004's amount of players.

Kingdoms enforcing RP? What kind of RP are we talking about? LOL PLZ DUN SAY STPD TINGS ON TAG TY or real rping? (As if anyone stays around on kingdom islands for long amounts of time to begin with)

Zell, what time do you check GK?

I normally see 10-40 ppl on during the day. I guess it depends when ur on.

10-40 is pathetic, I recall it usually had atleast 60-70 a day.

I remember it had to have 80-90 because when logging onto Valikorlia back in 2003, I always saw it either on top of val or below it...and back then Val had a big playerbase.

The point of it all, GK really isn't dieing so fast as many have come to believe. Infact most of it was due in large to the newer games coming out and the other servers. Which proves only the fact that GK simply needs events and new content to survive. Now if you really want to help GK out, I'd suggest you go to the suggestion or bug threads and add or fix something on GK.

Suggestions? Even if I had a decent suggestion it wouldn't be added. I've seen people post great ideas and none of them are really accepted. GK could have been much better but oh well.

Even if you did, its to whom you address the idea to. Discussion is only the first part to many good ideas. There are things that could and probably should be added onto by talking to others about it.

A perfect example would be a forest member giving an idea to me for the kingdom development. I can deal with that rather soon actually, on the other hand, GK staff have enough to deal with as it is, so you have to think smaller.

I was talking about simply posting it to both the staff and general public.

What do they honestly have to deal with? Please tell me.

Sorry, I didn't know the object of the game was to not try and get ahead. I enjoy trading and dueling people, so I concentrated on other things. Don't talk about things that you have no idea of... such as my reasons for playing a game.

I don't participate in RPing because I hate everyone being friends. Yay friends! Have some battles, some wars, not these friendly go find the bury bag events! Staff can do so much more, one small example is giving kingdoms land to fight over which gives some benefits. I think GK as a whole is limited... for example, if you defeat a kingdom in a war you get nothing. If the majority of people want a new king/queen, they get nothing.

There is only two people that can add items and content to gk. Those two people are busy on G3D, updating client, and other such things. IMO I think they should either hire people too update gk, and work on the things listed. Or, hire other people to work on things listed, and dedicate there time to gk.

actually, I remember Nayoko and Kefka being removed from leadership. Also, you can still have wars with friends. You just have to "RP" a little bit. You don't have to be an ass to people just to have wars.

I meant recently. I would say about 90-95% weren't around for any "forced removals."

I understand that... which is why I was interested in dueling and PKing, but usually within a context. However, my dueling friends have moved on hence why I do little anymore.

The problem is, people are not having wars with their friends, and us "power players" get yelled out for not RPing while most of the leaders do absolutely nothing except hold crappy faux roleplaying events.

I wasn't directly calling you an ass. most pkers do it just for the items... cause there too lazy to get there own. If i remember correctly only a couple of the wars on gk that i've seen have been actually rp'ed. They usually stem from actions taken by members that are just stupid, or just personal vendeta's. Like when googie,bosh, and the rest of zormite started wars over Sam when he wasn't actively a member in cp. They proceeded to start wars and flame people when they had no right to do so.

If you want wars why not ask Alan or Dayaa. I'm sure they would be glad to have some rp wars. make some "enemies" without having such contraversies as other people have had in the past. Hopefully bosh can actually rp this time instead of personally attacking kingdoms.

What are the globals for? They can get the GST to do some scripting, the GGT (if they even exist anymore) to make the graphics, and GK has it's own set of dev staff anyway (kingdom developers last time I checked). They can make the content and all the two people who can upload content have to do is really just upload them.

ha, i know this. Plenty of people have made gfx, items, and such for gk. The problem is getting those two people too upload anything is almost impossible, unless you know how to speak there language.

There were tons of players back in the first few years of this server. It sucks now, because of the corrupt staff, lack of advancement, none of the classes are different, nothings getting finished yet a ton of more unfinished buggy stuff is being released to keep the players happy.


Tell me, what is there to do on this server anymore? Trade items back and forth? Horde diamonds? I don't even see people doing maps anymore. It's more of a show and tell event or something... everyone sits in that trade house puts stuff on the table and shows it off, maybe once in a while they trade stuff.


I haven't played too much recently, but thats what I feel it has become... maybe I'm wrong fellas? Tell me what there is to do on that server that is fun.

You are so smart. You judge about things you do not know much because you didnt play GK much. And calling staff (which is in the first row Stefan and Björn) corrupt is the best of all. Best example how serious this post is.

Sam, I already explained this to you, who it was, what they did, and how it affected the server. Please stop your bs.


Also Sam, since you know so much and you have apparently been P L A Y I N G it so much, tell me, what is there to do on the server now? Prove me wrong by answering the question at the bottom of my last post.
