Black - In need of a GAT
 

Black has no talented Graphics Team members is looking for 1 good experienced one. Black is a codename until the server is finished. The server contains city's based on real places. It also introduces the 'cents' (penny, dimes, nickels, and quarters) system which is unknown to many other modern servers. Currently under development on 'Codenamed: Black' and 'Playerworld21'. Since the servers are staffonly some snapshots are attached.

You had me fooled there, I thought the server was supposed to be that dark thus the name "Black".. Haha.

I can submit stuff from time to time or fulfill requests, but don't expect things that take a lot of time, such as tilesets. I don't have the patience for those sorts of things.

But the Era tileset that you're using is well known...

Chances are that the tileset will be either dumped or modified once a new one is made. That would be my guess.

If that was Angel i would love you, however I think it is not :(

Or maybe its to cover up crappy and/or stolen tiles. =)

Do you realize how crappy it would look with the classic tileset? I would only worry about it if the server was up for promotion to the login list.

Thats nice but no one knows anything about your server, it would be like joining a club it and it turning out to be a club full of cereal killers.

True, but now I didn't feel like typing alot again so I thats why I said logon and ask for the passcode to preview the server hands on.


Things that are being worked on:

-Auction Script (50%)
-PlayerSystem (PKing, HP, Stats - 75%)
-Mining (10%)
-Movie Theartre and VideoPlayer[SWF] (25%)
-Guns (5%)
-Message/Mass System(97% - Just need to work on one small bug)
-Inventory (65% - Needs new profile and optimization on script)
-Cars (10% - Basic Script Layout Complete)
-GMAP (SouthEast Oakdale - 40%, Highway 15%, Others - 0%)
-Images and Graphics (20% - We already have a good ammount of billboards, business signs, and street signs).

Things that are already complete:

-Custom ItemLib system that collaborates with the custom inventory.
-IRC (Includes Chat, IRCBot, and EventsBot)
-Custom currency system (includes dollars and cents)
-Mailing Script (Working for the post office and delivering letters).

How is this any different from Era except for the mail script? =/ Help me out man. Make me WANT to work here.

Oh didn't post whats to be done..

Next to be worked on:

-Custom optional CAS System (Click, aim, and shoot. All mouse gun system --optional)
-Projectiles (From bows and arrows to hi-powered grenade launches and bombs)
-Aircraft (Remaking of the RapidWolve Airways Aircraft [As seen on Graal X] once flying system is finished)
-Tanks w/ turret ctrl (Graphics, and Gani's are already complete - will be based off car system)
-Large array of jobs (from bountys, to dog-walking, alot of jobs will be made)
-Player created weapons [by archtypes through businesses and gangs] (prefix "Weak" then suffix "Pistol" will create a weak pistol into the custom ItemLib)

Uhm, yeah. So isn't Black another dumb excuse to make an Era clone? Like half the servers nowadays.

Doesn't sound half bad, if you can get a good tileset that doesn't look like Graal X's or Era's.

You mean icarus since graal x didnt make it but took it. And yes i know it was given to them.

Sage gave it to them. And if you know it was given don't say it was taken. :)

Heres a screenie of what you see when you complete a mission, it came out bad. It's supposed to be transparent like the on in GTA and the intro screen. =\ I'll have to redo it later.
