Are you guys still doing it?
I was told by stefan xmas. Its january the 12th now.
That graal 3d looks good and all but seems a waste of time considering you got games such as flyff, free to play, better gfx and so on.

So come on! Release the flying system already!!

What is flyff? and what the heck is that flying stuff?

FlyFF isn't the best game... unless you like to grind all day long... (But I still like it... not saying FlyFF is bad.)

I don't know if you people even read the rules anymore but discussing other MMORPG's has been illegal for ages and a strict thing on the forums...

Anyways it would be cool to see the flying system implemented soon, maybe some space ships for the planet selecter on Zone or something. :)

I think this was for gk. gk is rpg style.

google free mmorpg's and you will find about 6-12 sites listing gk on there

The "flying technology" isn't only for GK to my understanding. The video showing it off was made on Kingdoms Debug, so I'm guessing that's why you thought that.

No, I think Graal has been an MMORPG from the start.

Yep. And yes, the flying technology is for all servers, its like any other script feature, such as the particle emmiters.

But from what I remember it will only be useable by people with Gold/VIP or something.

The air balloon ship on GK atleast.

Yeah, I wouldn't think of how that could be implemented...the graal engine could disable the functions for nongold/vip, but that could just pose proublems.

You'll probably have to use a function to initiate flying. This is where it would probably weed out people who can use it and who can't.

Is the flying technology actually in the clients at the moment and just undocumented?

I have just give up on the flying system getting uploaded anytime soon.

Documentation is my largest problem with Graal at the moment. The wiki is a vast improvement but is still incomplete. If someone could just take the time to document their knowledge it would be nice.

Yeah...I posted the old NewFeatures, which was one of the big things I was missing...little details like "What's the syntax for Shoot"
But more than Documentation, I learn from examples. I'd much rather get a Backup feature and a few Template servers. "Here's a Zelda Style Server. By mixing and matching all the scripts on this server, you ought to be able to script anything you need, within reason." Granted, won't help you make scripts as ridiculously complex as cHANDLER's been doing (Gah that makes my head hurt...and he just used the wiki! That's all!), but it'd be nice to have the level of Supported technology back up to where it was in 2002...when every server had baddies, arrows, bombs, thrown projectiles, bushes you could pick up, gloves to pick up rocks and blackstones, putleaps and putexplosion...
