What are these tiles for?
 

Hey, what are these tiles for?
I found them around the cliff tiles, I can make cliffs fine without them, I always wondered what they were for.

Top right tile is for cliff layers.
Top left is for south facing cliffs.
Second from top [left side] is for south angled diagonal cliffing.
Third and Fourth layer I don't think I've ever used...
Fifth and sixth tiles are for east/west facing cliffs.

If your making cliffs without them then you making cliffs wrong.

Where exactly does the third and fourth row tiles come into play in regular cliffing?

They're several of the tiles what got migrated over from the Zelda Tileset, I'm assuming they're those too.

when you're stacking your left and right directions

it really depends on the style you have though

Yeah those tiles are used for making cliff entrances and whatnot on sides of mountains. I'll go take a look and show you an example, I think Wan had a level using those tiles.

EDIT: here you go, one level by Wan, using those tiles.

I love that idea for a level.
Was that on a server at some point? I think N-Pulse used to have something like that.
