Can't you atleast say "Happy Birthday" Drae?

Draenin 01-08-2007 03:57 AM

I am capable of such a deed, yes.

Yeah, I think so. It's used for more than that, though. Perhaps I'm thinking of something else then.

Yeah, I was just going of non-dubbed animes I've watched. They seem to call any male friend 'kun'. I figured I'd trust Drae's judgment though, since I haven't yet taken classes in Japanese or anything.

Draenin 01-09-2007 12:09 PM

It's been a while since I've actually taken time to speak or write it. Moreover, I'm more used to saying san, primarily due to the fact that it's a bit more convenient, and I'm sorta lazy about saying stuff on a more 'proper' level. (For example, saying 'Itte kudasai' instead of 'mouichi do itte kudasai' whenever I needed my instructor to repeat anything. She corrected me a lot on that, but I shrugged it a lot.)

That's right. Drae says San because he's just that formal type o' guy. ;)

And he got pwned. Jk.

No, I'm used to saying it because I don't care enough to call male classmates 'kun.'
