Official Revival of the Zormite Navy

With much pleasure I am finally able to fully re-open the Ministry of Oceans!
The Ministry of Oceans is hereby capable of RP ship duels to be arranged with me.
The Ministry of Oceans is not capable of RP fleet engagments as of this time.

I now have three seemingly dedicated sailors who will hopefully remain faithful to the cause.

In addition, the Zormite warship Cyrest Thunderhead has been commissioned for active service (Solo Status only).

Admiral Uri Vatsinov serves as its Captain.
Sailor Wolfey Xanadu serves as its Gunner.
Sailor Ryan Ramazant serves as its Sailor.

The disjunction of ranks and positions is an unfortunate necessity with so few members.

As with such, there are now a small handful of regulations that must be followed.

-Shipyard gates are to be CLOSED (old classic).
-Members of the ministry may keep 1 private ship in the shipyard. It must have white sails, and they may do with it as they please as long as it doesn't interfere with shipyard operations.
-A commissioned warship may be used for practice missions, RP duels, and RP fleet engagements.
-To be in practice/duel mode the warship must have THREE crewmembers manning it throughout the course of the mission. If a crewmember must leave they are considered 'dead' for that mission and the ship must return to the shipyard at the nearest possible convenience.
-To be in fleet mode a warship must have TWO crewmembers. This mode is currently disabled because a minimum of three ships must be commissioned for a fleet engagement.

To help with activity, the members of the Ministry of Oceans are strongly recommended to assess their daily schedules, as well as important duties in their real life. This involves going to your parents (if applicable, if not shame on you for living alone and not managing your time by now) and ASKING what family plans are scheduled for the future. It is up to the sailors to balance school, occupational, and family activities and agree on a set time where they can all be on together. One more ships are commissioned, it is possible to get reassigned to a new ship to make it easier to find time together.

Practice missions can occur pretty much whenever the crew can get together. Practice missions can be given by the jurisdiction of the admiral of the navy, or me.

Solo Missions (ship duels) will be pre-arranged by me with other kingdom leaders, and carried out at a set time.

Fleet Missions will be rare and far between, and will be considered holidays of sorts requiring extra effort on the sailor's part to find time to all come together.

That is all for now.

honestly, whats the point? GK doesnt even have much of a playercount to take advantage of this and it's not like many people sail around GK anyway.

-remembers his noob days acting like a pirate- :(

What you say may be true, except I know that CP routinely holds ship battles among their own ranks. Being able to have more and more ship duels with another nation would indeed be a boon.

Plus with the lack of a real powerful military, ship battles are basically Zormite's only form of combat right now.

And if no one tries to make anything better, then there's gaurunteed no chance of it getting better. So quit complaining and do something to help.

I don't like this **** attitude of "STP MAEKING BAD COMENTS IF U HAEV NOTIN GUD 2 SAY DUN SAY IT AT AL LOL".

I purposely left it vague. Given your attitude I would rather you NOT try to help me or Zormite, or else you'd end up another nosy pain in the rear like Googi. But if you can find someway to actually benefit GK without giving up or messing it up then go right on ahead and do some good.

Then don't bother saying "do something to help".

Well that's good news. Maybe we could arrange a little battle between Zormite and CP, just to keep the crew on there toes and give them a taste of live action.

Anyway, aside from my earlier post which was directed at the pluffy man(<3), I guess I better start training the sailors right away.

Just to let everyone know. There was a surprise attack on CP. We sank several unmanned stolen ships (the cause of the attack), we shelled Westford a little, shelled the shipyard a little, engaged a pirate ship in combat, defeated it, and took Marion Hunter prisoner.

She of course... is enjoying absolutely every moment of this... but still a prisoner for future negotiations :p. Not really. Since she was once a Zormite in high standings, who was not dishonorably removed from the kingdom, I authorized her full release if she would back up this story.

Since it was spur of the moment, the only REAL thing that took place was the sinking of another ship.

Course, then two ships came and cleaned OUR clocks, so we're even now.

MadScience7 01-04-2007 12:54 AM

Followed up by a somewhat organized raid on Zormite by 4 CP ships. It was a fierce battle in a blinding snowstorm, but in the end all 5 or so Zormite ships were sunk and 2 CP ships remained. Kudos to Marion Hunter, Chris and Ricky as well as Zoogi and the crew of the Waltz on the Zormite side. Thanks for a good time everyone!
