ShotGun vs Dual Shotgun
Who do you think would win?
i'd prefer dual over Old anytime becuase of it's sound/Damage/Freeze time |
I killed a few and got very close witha shotgun to killing some.... so double isn't that much better if I can do it with one instead of 2
|
I'd go for normal. 1 more ammo clip helps a lot. :P

Uh, the dual shotguns together have a total damage of 80. x.x

All I got to say is Appirces Own All! xD It is true, they are the most balanced guns I have ever seen, 4 Bullets do 38, can kill someone in the same amount of hits as Appripers, and shoot more bullets. The Double Shotguns suck! They shoot once and have to reload, I have killed so many Noobs using Double Shotguns. So to me, I Say Appirces Own All! xD
Sincerely, Sparta Dark |
how are appirces the most balanced? :/

if you want a balanced gun use the chaingun![/QUOTE] xDDD |
Dual shotguns are pretty ridiculous. Shotguns are supposed to be for one-shotting people, so they naturally have a high delay time. However, dual shotguns have an even greater change of doing so, and I don't notice that much of a delay difference. Another really important factor to consider is the spread, which is crazy when dual wielding.

The problem with designing guns for a game where 'Height' dosen't matter and the bullets are visible, is that shotgun type guns can do an area sweep, that is, cover the entire area with no hope of escape from 'All' the bullets. Compare Zone to a 3D FPS, there you have to aim exatcly at the person, since the bullets arrive there practicaly the momment you shoot them and you have to consider X,Y and Z axis's. In Zone you shoot in the persons general direction many times, especialy with spread shots, with a chance of atleast hitting once.
Sorry, I know my sentence structure sorta sucks but I lost interest halfway through. |

Do you know what balanced means? Appirces are slightly overpowered but that's ok, because it's shadowed by the lame-ness of Aprippers and such. |

I'd love to see somebody shoot one shotgun in each arm using only one arm, and have them do that much power without breaking their shoulders.

Appirces are about as balanced as a scale holding a feather in one end and a rock in the other.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, this is simply a matter of opinion, so no one is "right" and no one is "wrong." |
Yeh cor what is a ''balanced'' wep?

Appirces have a large spread, can do up to 36 damage, and are available with the fastest classes. Aprippers are available with scouts, and do 40 damage max with a 20 damage minimum, and have an incredibly fast firing speed. I don't consider them to be balanced at all :p |

-shrugs- they still suck :P

My definition of balanced... If something has a strong point, it should also have a weak point, but if it's all round decent then it's fine. Appirces are all round weapons, no major strengths, no major weaknesses. Decent spread, decent damage, decent speed, decent clip size.
