GK Weather
It's probably been mentioned before, or atleast reviewed before.
Seasons for one should have impact on weather. Just saw rain, its december. Unless your in a tropical climate, which GK doesnt seem to be one. Winter means snow, and more snow. The chance of rain should be really low and really rare. It should be common for rain in the summer and spring times. Likewise snow should be rather rare in the according seasons. What sense would it be to have snow often during july? **Yes I know all about how its warmer in different places. But to be honest, its december, I've never really seen it rain for long, usually turns to hail. Not to mention the ice that forms shortly after rain durring winter seasons. |

It is that way actually...
But if the weather god wants rain it rains. |
Lol, here in Norway its raining, its been raining in whole december, and it has been snow 1 day.. Well, I just thought I could post, there is possiblilities for rain in december.. >_>
Well, on GK, it doesn't hurt if it rains sometimes |
Okay, but if its raining the snow would melt...
|

Hmm, If there's alot of snow, I usually get on GK and I can barely see my character :[ (And the weather and snow makes me lag), well, if there is alot of snow, all doesn't go away, I think? Haven't seen snow here in Norway for like 1 year ago x_x ( alot of snow) Quote:

We have alot fo snow here :)

I think it needs to be changed so it's just a nice fair sunny day more often than it rains and/or snows.

GK needs weather beause it just looks great with all the weather effects. Fro example the whole snow storm thing it's experiencing now actually looks great.
Possibly rare showers, rare thunderstorms, rare hurricanes + tornadoes (these would be up to staff only), and like tsunamis for rare server events (for example treasure from under the sea gets thrown out onto the shore and you dig for it but gotta avoid getting sucked in by the tsunami). :[ |
Where I live we still haven't seen a flake of snow yet still tons of rain.
In addition, even in cold places the weather is very rarely 100% uniform above freezing or below. A few years ago we had a December and January FILLED with horrendous freezing rain storms. It would rain and rain and rain but all the water would freeze on impact with the ground. Rain is very much a winter weather. If nothing else, try to picture the rain as sleet or something. |
