New RC
 

A new RC has been uploaded for Windows2000/XP. There are not a lot of modifications, mainly those two:
- doesn't stop/crash anymore when there is i:\ drive on the computer
- you can insert multi-line text into the RC chat

Get it by going either to the update tab or clicking on Start -> Install packages in the serverlist screen.

EDIT: When I copy text from .txt logs (which use a special character to create a lew line) and try to paste it to RC and send I still get this error:
The server got illegal data from your connection.
Illegal characters in the outgoing data detected (data type 79)!

And RC automatically reconnects. I thought that the multi-line support in RC was possibly to fix this, but I guess not?

I don't suppose this has anything to do with the serverlister being down >.>

Lol dammit >_<. When i first read support for multi-lines I thought that was the problem that was fixed >_<.

Try to not use your very own "char generate" so it wont lag when you try to read huge scripts?:/

So by any chance does this New and Improved RC support a nifty futuristic .GPAK filetype through which we can archive servers, whole or in part, optionally restorable on other servers or only locally (to prevent people cloning servers without their owners' permission, but to still let people copy their server to dev or give newbie-servers a jump start)?

You need to be on the login server to do updates... not on a playerworld.

It was doing the same on the login server. It finally worked though.

Eh, me too. Someday, someday. Anyway, nice update - but we'll away the lovely day when that particular update comes.

you know what'd be cool?

if I could load my attributes by saying like /openself or something (or maybe by hitting like F2 or something?)
