Scripted dev tools
Level Editor:
Is anyone working on one? And is there plans to integrate it into the core of Graal? I think we should make a scripted one, build it straight into graal, allow it to save levels to a server directly, or onto your computer. It would need all the functions the current level editor has, plus more recent updates, such as gs2, layered levels, etc. Gani Editor Same thing goes for this. It should be integrated right into graal. New features could include a 'clay-like' character for editing sprites. Like click the arms and pull up, and the character lifts his arms, etc. It would make editing ganis easier. Plus the integration of all the dev tools into the main graal client, with gscript means there is only one program you need, and it will work on any OS. I believe this was the general plan Stefan said he was going with, but any updates? Is there anyone working on these things currently? |
Maniaman was working on an Online Level Editor, but I wouldn't count on him finishing it anytime soon, considering he probably has other stuff to do.

I'm sure they're being worked on.

except claylike gani editing. That would require spontaneous generation of image data.
Gani Rotation, that I'd like to see. As in, visible in the editor. Also, Flash ganis. |

CheeToS, that isn't scripted you cheater :p
I was working on an online editor at one point, but gs2+ editing levels does not get along very well. Not sure if it has been fixed recently or not. I think Zero (zokemon) was also working on an online one with some interesting features. |
Still looking forward to the new level editor. :D
