The Graal Client for Linux

I've been having a few problems with this client now. Everytime I start it up, it says something about Direct Rendering, and I have already updated the graphics card. The client seems to slow down after a few minutes. There is also the problem where the sound loads a few seconds after an action is made like swinging a weapon. Is there any chance this client can be updated? (Oh, and I'm running Fedora Core 6 is that will help)

The problem is with your computer. Not the client. Figure out how to re-enable
direct rendering and then the client will run fine.

What graphics card, and if you've installed any new drivers, what versions?

how about creating a devision that would develop linux stuff for the graal system instead of focusing all your sources on just the window's version couse thats why 75% of the world uses . there are people that use linux and right now they cant run graal stuff due to minor errors that arnt being fixed and editor's and such that dont exist couse there is no development going on for the operating system . also will graal still run when window's goes obsalete to make way for the vista stuff ?

Graal is developed on Linux so I don't think that the linux version will disappear :D

I gave up on my linux install...at least with windows I can actually play graal decently >_<.

Shame windows can't be used as a decent web, ftp, irc and mail server though =(

yea same with me , i tryed linux several times but dell's dont seem to like them so i gave up . but from what i hear from those i know that do use it , the client/game itself creates several problem's and runs about 50% of the time and there is no editor for it yet . he has even gone as far as editing his os and stuff to make it run , which did work for a time . the window's question i guess is ilrelavent as window's name will change but the software itself will not , as im told . but i dont believe everything i hear .

My dell Inspiron 6000 runs better in linux than it does in windows 2000. Graal runs very well in Ubuntu for me.

Video card

I got the newest update from NVIDIA. Maybe someone can show me hoe to enable Direct Rendering for Fedora Core 6. Oh, and btw, Ubuntu isn't that great. I tried it and it ran like crap. (My video card is GeForce 7300 GS)

Hmmm in Ubuntu you just go to System Settings -> Monitor & Display -> Hardware -> Configure Graphics Card, then click on Proprietary Driver.
For Fedora i found some help here: http://www.fedorafaq.org/#nvidia
