Just a quick question..
What is the point in the Global Scripting Team?
|
Oh man, I can hear the can of worms being opened from over here.
|
Lol I think their job is pretty useless now, it's not like they exactly HELP out anymore is it?

Its where the globals give the little suck ups a job, making them feel important but they arent really.

Does the GST even exist anymore? Who does it consist of? I think Skyld, Cheetos, who else? I know Lance was in it but he quit Graal...Jagen was in it but he got fired I believe...

Well if Skyld's job is soley to help people with scripts shouldn't he have some kind of public AIM/MSN or something? :x

Skylds probably to busy to help anyone as he always been to be scripting an RC.
|
Need for globals has decreased drastically now that players have basically taken everything into their own hands.
Don't be surprised if one day it gets to the point where Cyberjouers only provides the GServer and the NPC Server while the players do the rest! |

And i think we can all agree the team could use for some (maybe slight) expansion. |

There are currently only 4 globals total (Skyld, Vulcan, HoudiniMan & I). Nobody aside from Stefan/unixmad can help with account issues now, so there's definitely a need for somebody new. edit: the IM thing just got fixed :) |
I think we lost the best possible people that would ever be able to do the job right without having grudges against players in the past.

There are people willing, and capable of helping. Thanks Cheetos for the reply, hadnt realised it was dwindling down so far. |
Yes I understand this, but look at the current state of things, Houdini has problems with players and isn't the best man for his job when it comes to handling certain situations.
Vulcan promises things and leaves them for almost a year. It's getting beyond a joke. |
