Better stacking

The easiest, simplest, and most elegant solution I can think of this:

When you click and drag a pile of items, and drop it over a pile of identical items, instead of moving them or swapping them, they simply stack like that.

Also, on a related note, could someone look into the stacking of scribed scrolls?

They mainly stay in the stacks of what they were originally. Ex. Identifys and destructions stay seperate. Some others seem to stack though.

Has to do with plat value

Oh so the plat value isn't matched up to allow the scrolls to stack.

Hm... should that be tweaked some?

Perhaps if there was a scroll sack which would stack regardless of plat value.

Yeah, but that would also mean that mountain stones and maps and such should stack too, which they usually don't.

... mountain stones stack...

Draenin 12-02-2006 09:54 PM

Yeah, but not with normal stones, even though they basically have the same use. (Only difference is that you can do dust of the dead with them.)

when you have thousands of scrolls, after you write all of them they seem to stack according to level as long as you write them the same.

Dude, mountain stones ARE different then other kinds of stones. Now the stone (stone) and stone (metal) I don't get, but the mountain stones and river stones I understand being different.

I'm talking about a pile of 4 Detect Magic (26) and a pile of 2 Detect Magic (26) and no way to make them stack.
