Graal - Hacker Tool Detection Bug
I was on GK Earlier and opened up Cheat Engine 5.1.1 Since many other versions seem to freeze when attaching process for me. I program in Borland Delphi 2005. And rarly Dev-Cpp. I was immediantly kicked off graal because it thought I was cheating. I find it VERY annoying that I cannot idle and program/debug my own programs. Is it possible to only check programs attaching to Graal4.exe? I know it is. Also With CE you can rename the window so could you ease up the overneeded protection and make it a bit better, plz? I could help you find any information you need on fixing this problem but it is an inconvience to players who idle for like 5 or 10 min.
|
That's happened to me alot. I often play other games while idling on graal. Been banned on N-Pulse so far because i tried to edit another game. Which is annoying since i wasn't actually hacking graal, it was just detected x_x
Sucks for me but eh |

Stefan needs to make it not detect windows that are not messing with graal. Because people pay for an account just to be banned for "not breaking the rules for graal". Yet on the otherhand If I really wanted to I could bypass all this hacker BS, but what would the point of that be? Graal is basically a virtual chat room now a days. Isn't worth my time and effort anymore. Isn't it funny how Stefan only searches for window names? Odd because you can use cheatengine to change itself's name. EDIT: Just found an odd bug. I posted "AFTER" excaliber7388 yet my post shows before his.. wtf? It also showes my time as earlier then his... o.O And "That's what I am talking about was directed to excaliber7388. |
And then there are some programs that graal lets right through.
Hack protection should be more controlled through the client, although scripters of the servers should also work at it. Some aren't hard to play with...so I've heard. :) |

If you have an upgraded account then you are just warned and disconnected, if you continue to use the tools while running Graal then it is ok for the server staff to ban you. There is no real protection that works against memory manipulation in 100% of all cases, but this protection at least protects against the casual cheater that is just using some existing tool.

That is interesting, so will all players (trial) who try and hack auto-ban? And thats not fair to those who program and debug there apps. There is a way actually stefan. Kinda like the opposit of how "Trainer Spy" works. I suggest maybe googling? Or if anything that shouldnt be a "bannable" offense. I mean improve your existing protection is all.
|
So a 1 off case of detection is not feasible grounds for banning?

Well all it does is kill Graal.... you can do you debugging then open Graal up again. I don't care when it happens, it's just annoying at the time ^^.
I don't support NP banning me after the first time it happened on N-Pulse though :\ . |
It's near impossible to detect exactly which program is attempting to edit the memory of Graal. If you don't want to get banned, don't open a program called "Cheat Engine" while you are connected to an online game. It's common sense, really.
|
Common sense yes but i do stuff the same whether I am online or not :). I'll open cheat engine regardless if I'm on Graal or not. I get disconnected from graal and hopefully I'll learn. Banning me for hacking when nothing was hacked though... :\
I haven't done it for a while which is good :D |

Wasnt even related to graal and I couldnt cheat anything importaint with AutoIt on that server if i tried, I didnt lose all 30 days, but I heard other servers were Perminate banning people who got warned with auto-it, which is redicilous |

I believe there is a simple solution!
Stay off Graal! |
