I need Photoshop help
I've never bothered looking into this much...this entire time I've just accepted that I dont know how to fix it.
When transforming something in photoshop, it automatically smooths it out, blurring the inside and around the outside edge has a fade to transparent. How do I remove that? I know how to change it when adjusting the entire document size (resample image: nearest neighbor) but that doesn't help. I need to transform an item into many different angles and perspectives, but cant have that anti aliased edge |
You cant remove it, sorry. Tried this myself many times and also asked other guys who work alot with PS, and they also told me that its not possible.

Put the image in indexed mode, it will have more jagged lines then, but no blur.

Thank you! One more thing, now... I an action set up do to alot of work for me... Is there a way to duplicate an action like duplicating a layer? I have to edit it alot since indexed mode has no layers |

Not quite what I was looking for, Madagal, but that does help...I've had to pick out a single action before but never knew I could just double click....
I tried double clicking an action while I had it recording, maybe then it would write the action down again, yeah? It wouldn't let me. Can't bring up a recorded action while it's in the middle of recording. BUT I found what I was looking for! I just had to look under the little arow button x_x Screenie: notice there are two of the same set selection :D The problem I had was the action was meant to transform the entire layer after it pastes it down. Photoshop makes the pasted image as a new layer, so I could skip the trouble of selecting the area -again- With everything as a single layer, though, thats a problem.... But now it selects the area to paste the image into, places it down, selects what it just pasted and transforms it :D Now I just need to remove all the mergers... Thanks everyone :) Edit: shoot...I havn't even tested it yet but I know it wont work. The action is "Transform Current Layer" ... not "Transform Selection"...I might have to redo the entire thing :( Edit again: No problem, works fine! Edit..one last time: ......Ok now I feel dumb. I'll blame this one on staying up all night (again.) When you paste the item, it doesnt automatically deselect itself. It's still selected. This was all redundant work... This is really easy in Paintshop Pro.
Just limit it to 256 colours and then rotate. It can't AA then because that would require it to create new colours that aren't on the palette. Maybe try that in PS, although I think PS just automatically creates the new colours anyway and unlimits the palette. |

For the layer style effects, right click on the layer's effect you're wanting, and then click on 'Copy layer style', it'll then copy that layer style. Right click on the new laye and then click on 'Paste layer style'. I think that's what you're wanting? |
