Yo, I were looking trough some old threads and saw my competition thread.. And since you were acting all good saying "why doesnt he challange me then?" and ****, here I am.



Lets have it like this, you make the competition, your rules and ****.
I have only one demand, the graphics must be fresh.. No old GFX is allowed.

Ask Elk, his rules. But I kind of saw it as an personal attack from his side, so I'll doubt it.

You don't need gold to post anymore, so I don't see why it'd affect his posting.

This should be interesting. You should probably spell the word "Challenge" right if you are going to challenge someone though.

Sure I have an ego and have to protect it aswell...
But, as you know, I don't have much time so I have to start at Friday if I accept. I have alot of work for school aswell which takes some more time...
but I'm sure I can do that aswell...I might be a bit rusty since I didn't pixel for 2-3 weeks or so...we will see...I'll response at Friday again

back on topic...so uhhh could you atleast give rules...maybe you both could GFX the same type of thing...something like a tree, or some ****...and which ever is better, by peoples choice, is the winner? ;o

Hey, it's a challenge, is it not? It would be unfair to have the sprite battle based upon something that we know one or the other can already do well. Another stupulation is that we would also need to be able to tell that the artist didn't just use a filter to create the effect. Stephen and I are fairly good at this, as I'm sure many others are.

I say someone else should be making the rules. The way Elk has danced around it the entire time, he could be making anything he wants right now, and then just applying the rules to it. Right now he has an unlimited time period.

That also means that Tyrial does too, but it doesn't matter until the official thread is posted because it can change, or even stay the same.

As self-proclaimed referee of this competition, I hereby lay down the following via my iron fist (*flexes power*):

Imagine you are running for political office of whatever for whatever reason. Your entire campaign is a smear campaign against your opponent. Create in a no larger than a 800x600px image (decent wallpaper size I suppose), using any graphical program available to you, a political poster completely trashing your opponent. You must make use of at least 2 quotes made by your opponent, which will demonstrate your font-making (or font-using) abilities. Any additional text will be at your discretion.

Any additional conditions will be furnished upon request.

The best of the two will be chosen by the Graal community on the basis of whatever they think is the best burn or on whatever basis they so choose.

If they're using Zephyr's guidelines, may I suggest Tyrial using "do it better yourself" in his poster.

New condition: please do not influence the alleged artist's creativity and content as it will detract from their final result.
