A town
 

I was going for a 'Classic' theme whilst creating this town - I believe I created it earlier in the year, anyway; it's on VS:C'. I'd like suggestions on how I could improve it but keep in mind I am wanting it to keep with the original theme (I need to create the corner tiles for the houses on the water). Ofcourse, in due time I'll be adding light effects in amongst several images to give it more of a town feel.

During development mode I've labeled all of the houses on what they're going to be in the future. They will not be there when I drop - if ever.

Not bad. First screenshot I don't like so much because of the castle walls going into the sandy looking tiles. It doesn't really work it needs some outter tiles to make the transition look smoother.

Second one is nice, but perhaps a little cluttered. I can see it looking less cluttered on a gmap with other crap around it aswell so that doesn't really matter.

I must say that looks quite Graal like.

ugh, you cant really dis it because your going for a classic feel...but I to like towns with buildings close togeather insted of spread out like it is now buuut I just dont like it but if I had a time machine and I saw that level years ago I woulda 10/10ed it.

Its more of a classic style without the massive amount of tiles errors and horribly placed buildings. So it gives a classic feeling and a new feeling to me at the same time.

I'm liking the way your doing your towns Wan. Huge inspiration on me. I finally got Syria looking decent on Babylon, just had to make it more simple.

tile errors? i didnt see any.

::edit:: wait i saw 3 the house by the water the house by the cliff and the house by the bushes. i dont think the needed tiles exist in that tileset though.

I honestly believe that that might be the overall best looking overworld that I've ever seen.

I like it but you crowded the yards with to manny rocks (I know I'm not in the place to say anything so don't say anything)
