Final Battleground
 

Final Battleground is a modern server based in the year 2245, the general storyline is revolving around goverment greed and the human race destorying itself.

Im currently in need of more staff members, at the moment the team consists of Yen, Snakeandy, and myself. Snakeandy is pretty busy with Era and Yen is just yen :P.

Currently using the VS:Conflict server until name change.

Im looking for;

Story Writer,
I have lots of cool ideas for a storyline for the writer to work with, it just needs to be put together and a little deeper background to it.

Scripter,
GS2.

Thats a screenshot of a level snakeandy put together using the tiles i had made then.

The server will consist of 2 armys which the player chooses at the start, the armys work together using tatical systems i have planned to take over different areas of citys.

Tom, honestly, if I had a nickle for every server you made within the past year I'd probably not have a lot of money but I'd have enough to buy a coffee at school at least.

We all know you're going to drop this, just like every other server you work on, you don't have the attention span to work on a server for more than a month or two at best. So sorry if I don't get worked up over another "Tom Idea #1000000"

lol @ Tom making graphics one day and turning it into a new server project the next.

I think it's a combination of Tom losing interest and also not getting enough assistance with the project. He won't get a decent scripter so the project will drop.

I mean no offense Tom, but the sidescroller project was a sweet idea and you even had Stefan who was supposed to help with it, and that got canned.

This server doesn't look promising or interesting at all... Modern futuristic war server? Boring.

P.S. I hope this server doesn't have pie or you're royally f***ed. :p

I agree with everyone here, what happened to your platformer? You seem to start a new server every two weeks.

BUT I am going to post on the content you've posted. The tileset looks great so far, it'll be nice to see more, we know it'll be good. I'd really like to see some futuristic fighting inside a city, but I don't think it is possible to make what I'm picturing. Keep up the good work, and stick with a server for longer than a month for once.

He does have a good scripter ;)

sorry again, also. The platformers hasnt ended, its just really slow, plus its next to impossible to get a chance to speak with Stefan.

I would much rather see you complete the platformer, and you aren't useless, you just want to work on something. :)

Oh nothing... just an inside joke that Tom and I share. =p He can tell you if he wants. It still makes me laugh though. It's so absurd. >_<

I think Tom would be better off if he could learn how to stick with one server and help them make graphics... Though I don't ever see that actually happening. Maybe he just wasn't cut out for game development. Not every artist has to make artwork for games.

Okay, im going to post this here but if there were a thread dedicated to this topic, it would be posted there instead.

I offered my scripting to the project, because I thought it looked promising.

I had designed a lot of systems with the intention of helping COMPLETE the platformer, then you dropped it to Elk(?). I sent elk a forum pm, asking for details and seeing if i could get back in to script more stuff, he replied with "Ill let you know", this was probabaly 3-4 months+ ago.

It wouldnt be so slow if you would stop looking for every excuse in the world not to work on one thing.
