That has been broken for ages, on all servers.

And it sucks.

hmm.. well I haven't been able to play the past week because my computer's kindof... well let's just say I had the motherboard and keyboard replaced already, and the hard drive will be soon. Meanwhile the wireless card isn't working since the motherboard change and I don't have a network cable.

If nicks are showing under bushes on Classic, it's because someone has modified my nick system. I don't believe that hiding nicks causes a lot of lag with that system, since it's only one conditional check (bitwise at that) and there is only one player variable that gets updated for any true/false situation (which i would assume making client i/o traffic lower for a number of features).

Yeah, I heard it was edited to reduce lag?

yea, I wouldn't think it would reduce lag so much.
