Uhm, isometrics is cool.

How am I suppose to color this building? I don't know how to color something isometric.

I suck at graphics, this is a pretty much first attempt.

Do I make one side lighter, one darker, due to the sun, or what?

pretty much
the top should usually be lightest and the side the sun is hitting would be a little light and the darkest side would be the part that gets no sun
