Is there a way people could find out the npc server commands prior to having a player world so they wouldn't have to spend so much time on construction? I never saw the one ice pick did so can someone retype it or email me it at [email protected]

see it is just dumb to have the commands anyways for npc server...

because they only work if you put the script into the npc server....
so why do you need them until you get a npc server?

Not exactly. The only commands that Graal won't accept from the npcserver are the 'with' commands. Like:

with (players[x]) { }
with (getplayer(account)) { }
with (npcs[x]) { }
with (getnpc(name)) { }

All the others like 'replaceani' and stuff work (but I havn't tried attachplayertoobj yet...)

like the ones to add guilds and delete guilds and stuff

Oh yeah. addguildmember and stuff. But, the new 2.04 features work in offline mode.

That is because they are supposed to :D

If they were mean't to work exlcusively on an NPCserver...then they would have been specified in newfeatures2001.txt that they only worked on an NPCserver...

Just because it says its reserved for upgraded servers does not mean that it needs an npc server. all the new commands introduced in 2.04 work anywhere :D but are only allowed to be used on p2p servers...if they are used on a free server, they will be removed :)

A) I doubt you know what half of those do or how to use them effectively.
B) That's directly from the npc server commands text file, which you shouldn't be posting.

people cant really do anything or make any server side scripts until they get the program for npc server and can connect to a server that has a npc server.

Well IcePick certainly doesn't have any respect for Stefan since he just gave a bunch of commands which were included in a .txt which was NOT SUPPOSED TO BE GIVEN TO ANYONE BUT THE PERSON USING THE NPC SERVER NPC!!!
Then again...it can be used for learning, so I guess it's ok.
After all, we dont want new players to be asking us many questions requesting commands when yet infact they already exist.

About a month or 2 ago, someone did post the npcserver.txt file....

*cough*Ice Pick did*cough*

i asked for it and he posted it but it got deleted, i didn't know you weren't allowed to have it though, i just needed it when i was working as bravo nat and nobody answered me when i asked for it

So I have the file, I have the Admin job, but no NPC Server. =(

YEAH! And Ice Pick cant help it if he is 99% dumb 1% ***
