New tilesets for non p2p servers?
 

hiya ppl i was wonderingn wether i could make a new tile set for auroria like the one on http://www.angelfire.com/rpg/Murasamune/tilesample.gif
but i dunno wether its only for p2p (i think u have to edit pics1.ong right? hope for answers.
p.S its the 7th day and ftp is down :(

Not Allowed, Stefan did write in the newfeatures that this command was enabled for P2P Playerworlds only.

You could just replace some tiles in the current Pics1.png.

like Damasca.. but i think Stefan doesnt allow any change to pics1.png or new tilesets for Free PW

He doesn't allow changes to it? I've never heard that.

well.. with the new tileset commands that is only allowed for P2P PW, he might not want people to make their own pics1.png.. lets just wait and see if he answers ;)

Only P2P servers can use addtiledef, I think. Free server can use their own tileset, but they will have to make it available for download and the player would have to replace his pics1.png with the free PW's pics1.png. Damasca's wasn't allowed because they were supposedly too much like Zelda, I think.

we know that but now that the new command is available, Stefan probably wants only P2P PW to use different tilesets.....

The free PW can post the tileset on their webpage and have it available for download and the player can replace the pics1.png file with it and it would be alright.

Sooo, stefan isn't just adding things for P2P pws, hes taking away things for NP2P PWs, that's just evil! Next thing you know, he'll tkae away the command for sign lettersets, like grayletters.png
