Opening .graal and .nw files
Hello
Sorry if this has been asked before. I recently downloaded the Graal4 Level Editor from the Client. In order to open .graal and .nw files on my computer, I right click the files and click open with. When i browse and select Graal Editor to open them with, it defaults to Graal4 and when i try opening them it says the file is not a valid win32 application. Can anyone help me to open .graal and .nw files on my computer automatically with level editor (not having to open editor and then open files in it)? Thanks |
Go to My Computer or something like that then goto Tools then Folder Options and goto File Types then when you're in there goto New and type .nw and then click ok.
After that click change and fine Graal Editor.exe or w/e it is. Should work. Same process for .graal aswell except instead of putting .nw it's .graal. |
Wow thats cool,i never actually though of doing that lol, kinda sucks that you cant open them all in one editor though, it opens up a whole new one >_<
|
My favorite thing to do is right-click open with (Graal Level Editor) permently. To try them all at once try opening the graal folder and folder where levels exist and drag them all to the .exe.This should open them all in the same GraalLevelEditor.exe.It use to and I havn't tried it in awhile but its worth a shot.

Rename the GraalEditor.exe in...well...dunno. Just rename it. It should work perfectly then.
|
In the filetype dialog, set the destination program for .nw and .graal to:
GraalEditor.exe "%1" And you should be able to open levels by double-clicking them. |
I was told to do it this way, but i just go into the editor and open it. A little extra effort :P
|
Just point it at your Graal Editor...thats what I did and still do.
