Kingdoms Player increase idea.
 

I was thinking, "How can we get more people to play Kingdoms?" What if they made it so Kingdoms was free for a 2 week period. Don't you think that that would make more people like Kingdoms and want to play it? I know it would make me want to play it again.

I'm going to say to you what I say to everyone who says Graal Kingdoms player count is down.
The reason the player count is low is because everyone is at college and school. Once it hits the weekend the player count shoots up again.

That is true when i go on in the weekend its full of players

I'd like to point out that I've been playing GK for about 4 years, and on average the playercount is still lower. We have had much higher player counts during the week and the weekend. It's not just a matter of being at school/work. A big thing is competition from Zodiac right now, and another is that we do have alot of trial players who log onto GK from time to time and who really need to upgrade to gold so they would log on more often...

Well see, I played GK for about 2 years. I notice that player count HAS been going down. If they made it so that it was free to play for 2 weeks, I know a lot of people, including myself, would get addicted/re-addicted and upgrade again.

I quit for about 6 months and all it took to get me re-addicted was Grirahan telling me he missed my random chaos. Now he barely plays that he is away in college, which is BS, because I work full time, 40 hours a week, go to night classes, and still find plenty of time to get online.

And when I am not playing, I am on the forums while I am work.. like now. :P

I was Paul Bones, remember me? Yeah, I LOVED GK then my gold account expired. AND I WANT MY OLD STUFF BACK. So, I know if they make it free for me for 2 weeks, I would get addicted and play it and re-new my account.

Unfortunately, I gave all my stuff away before my account ran out, because I didn't plan to play GK anymore, now Grir got me playing again and I am broke as a noob. :P

Well, relatively anyway. I make about 8-10k plat a day, and I did have alot of old friends donate stuff to me when I came back, but I am still nowhere as leet as I used to be as far as items go. :x

I pwnt the CRIZAP. I forgot how many hours I had when I expired. One day I was playing, next, I signed off then back on and I was a trail again x-x.

Lets not get off subject. I say they make a system where you can request to play for like..a week and yeah, then ofcourse, you re-new.

I overall disapprove of this, all it would cause is people would make a trial, play for a week, then make a new account and transfer all their stuff to that one.

Never underestimate a cheap-ass. :)

Ofcourse, they would make it so you can't transfer the itmes unless you upgrade.

They could, but that would mean you would not be allowed to trade or drop anything...

Can you imagine trying to play GK without being able to drop items? -.-

If you tried to sell something, it would disappear, if you tried to buy something, it would disappear. o.o

No, player to NPC actions would still be permitted, just player to player drops would be destroied if another player picked them up.

Still, I wouldn't hold your breath on that one. If they won't do something as simple as updating graphics, why would they do something as drastic as this?
