Information on the Zormite situation.
Sadly the situation of Zormite didn't really changed.
Next weekend will be made a decision about the future of Zormite and the leadership. I am unsure about the current leadership. Are they able to convince the members and the staff team to deserve being leaders. The same for past leaders, which are interested more or less in becoming leader again. Sometimes it is better to make a cut and start completely new. Perhaps here too? |
I think Zormite needs a completely new start and a different leadership. I think you should let someone who hasn't been leader before get a chance to prove themself :)

Regardless of what you may think of me I am still and always will be the most experienced kingdom leader with the best ability of getting things done. I was able to pull strings to get things uploaded, and I will do it again if I have the opportunity.
I am the oldest ranking member of Zormite on this server now. I served under Zen himself. I achieved the rank of Strategus, the highest ranking officer of the armed forces. And if that is not good enough for you all, shame on yourselves. Every time I get a kingdom it gets powerful and it gets into gear for war, or for simple activeness. If you are so afraid of WAR, you are on the wrong server. Graal Kingdoms was made for kingdoms, its in the friggin name people. It has to start at the kingdoms. I am proud of Zormite, and I feel its always my first kingdom becuase it adopted me when I was a new player. And I planned to start a new player training/recruitment program again, the same one the people who recruited me trained me and made me the godly player I am today. I'll never forget them and their goal, and I want to immortalize it, if its the last thing I ever do here then so be it. If you make a new player kingdom leader they will USD the god damn thing off and buy items for themselves. Then some pansy like -starts with a k sounds like hey- will run it into the ground. And we wont have a damn thing left to give to someone qualified. If administration cannot come to a decision, let the players vote. |

Under Empress Wren I founded the Ministry of Information, and led as one of the more successful ministries at the time. Unfortunately, I was unable to advise and guide Wren as successfully as I had hoped. I left for a long time when the situation became unbearable, and now I have returned.
From the very first day I was on Kingdoms, Sutekh recruited me into Zormite, where I rose to my former position. I never took much part in the wars because they weren't in my time. I have no loyalties to other nations that go above and beyond cooperation and formality. I am not an "import" from anywhere. I do not feel comfortable on any other island, Zormite is my home, through and through. It is the only place I'd want to have my houses. I am new and likely do not know all there is to know, however I have already talked with Aran Draxx of Forest. One who has done incredible work upgrading his own lands, and is an extremely successful emperor on his own right. He is willing to help me make my own wishes of a better Zormite a reality. I constantly said that I would just be happy, to have my own little Ministry, on the top of Zormite Mountain, in the snow, like a monastary. As long as I could do my things unhindered I would have my ministry help out whatever regime was in power after the fall of Wren. However, not only is that simple request threatened by the militaristic views of certain canditates, but it would be foolish not to at least try to become emperor and take my improvements to the entire kingdom, and not just a lonely mountain top. |
So we have some people interested in being leader. Maybe some more will coming.

I would definatly like to see Drakeero in charge of Zormite, personally.

I've spoken to Calani about her inactivity as ruler of Zormite, and she's made me the Regent to maintain Zormite in her absence. I am trying to bring Zormite back to it's feet and beyond it's former glory.
I'm putting an emphasis on helping new players, to include trial accounts, because in my opinion, trial accounts are the ones we really need to be reaching out to. They meet a friendly face, they decide they want to play more, and they will upgrade to gold. Bringing more players to GK and raising the playerbase overall. Even if they don't join Zormite, this would increase activity serverwide and bring fresh new faces, which is the most important thing right now. No one can say Graal Kingdoms isn't suffering from a dropping playerbase, and I think a little friendly interaction, and some more frequent content updates from staff would be all we needed to gain more in that department. If there are plans to re-shape the Zormitian leadership, I'd like to be nominated for Emperor. I've nothing on my mind more pending than to see Graal Kingdoms thrive, and to see Zormite actively taking part. |
To add to what I said earlier...I believe Drakeero is highly qualified for leadership positions, mostly due to the leadership qualities he displayed back in 2003 and 2004 in times of peril and crisis’s that faced the Zormite Republic then, and now.

GK was more fun when there were 100+ people online all day, and there were frequent ET and Kingdom events going on, no one can dispute that. I think we need to reach out to new players, and I think that if Stefan and Unix see that GK is still a viable source of player subscriptions, they will be more likely to put more work into it. Either we work on keeping it active or we will lose GK entirely. |
There is nothing wrong with war, as a matter of fact, I even have a few ideas for warlike events that can be set up. But they're just that, events. Not some mad desperate scramble to be 'best' by manhandling everyone else, and not some weapon to execute grudges against.
Zormite is a kingdom, not a weapon to be used against others, not a tool to get rich from, not a status symbol to make you popular, a kingdom. A duty, and hopefully, most importantly, a hobby. Something you WANT to put effort into to make better. |

No, it's more like he told them he was a scripter and had other people do most of his scripts for him instead of trying to learn.

Maybe because he promised a lot of things to help Cyberjoueurs and tried to have other people do all of the work specifically assigned to him.

not the topic here, please!

As a matter of fact, several of the people I've recently recruited were asking about Priest ranks, which is something I would like to give them but cant because of all the rights I have, ranks is not one Calani gave me. I'm the highest ranking active member of Zormite for a reason, obviously I was trusted enough to have been given this position by the Empress to try to rejuvenate the kingdom in her stead. Calani is aware that she is inactive, and I made a promise to her to do everything in my power to try to bring Zormite back into full activity while she was gone. Not to say Calani is a poor leader, but she is inactive, and that makes her followers slowly trickle away. Exactly why she appointed me, to be the spark to keep everyone on board with Zormite, and to continue to draw new members into the ranks, even while she's gone. The only reason she didn't just make me Emperor is because she is stubborn and trying to hold onto her last bit of influence on Graal Kingdoms, despite her involvement with Zodiac and other projects at the moment. |
make me leader of zormite
