GK Halloween Idea
 

For this halloween, I was trying to think of something that would be fun to make/do and you could base a few events off of possibly. Plus, something everyone could do.

I thought it would be pretty cool if we could make Jack O'Lanterns!

How to make them:
Grow/Obtain a Pumpkin
Make a Torch

Have a craft table that allows you to design your pumpkin's face. For example, classical pumpkins have triangle or circle eyes. You could have a drag and drop of shapes - triangles, circles, scars, etc. Once you have chosen what you want, or "carved" the pumpkin, you could stick a torch in it to hold light in it.
To light them, you could do the same thing that you do with a lamp - just grab a torch, light the torch, and then light the pumpkin. Or you could just have them faintly glow non-stop.

You could have multiple events on this. Best Pumpkin/Scariest Pumpkin type of stuff, or best decorated houses!

Doesn't sound like it would be a hard thing to do, but I don't really script or make gfx, so I don't know.

What do ya's think?

We need carryable pumpkin lanterns. :]

That'd be sweet too.

It'd be even nicer if there was a night/day system, so that in the night the lanterns glow in the dark. :cool:

i think they have a night/day sys on debug?

Theres already something planned for Halloween, but Im not allowed to tell you. Sawrry.

Hmm, well the players don't play debug =/. Doesn't do much good there!

Anyways, we are deviating from the proposal.

Please don't get rid of em at halloween though.
i could imagine these things being pretty cool and fun and Gk needs all the fun it can get.

They already made fireworks appear once a year and u cannot even fire em til new years eve! in r/l you can get fireworks all year round.

set off on b-days, xmas, easter, halloween, and bonfire night and even ceramonies.

So for the love of govannon don't spend all your time on it just to remove a few weeks later.

Carve a pumpkin, then cash it in for free leet items!

Aka recolored items or pumpkin monsters.
