Inactiveness (in case this happens)

It can be hard staying active on a game.
What if you were involved in an accident and had to be away in hospital for months or your pc broke?
Your house would be gone by then.

Why not introduce a house recovery thing?
Basically you tell staff member the reason you were inactive and then you have to remain active for a set period of time the staff tells you to (not too ridiculous though) and if you still active by then he will restore your house for you to 10% so you must go and repair it at once.

The last thing anyone should be thinking if they are lying on a hospital bed is "will my gk house still be standing?"

If youre in hospital i dont think you would be thinking about graal ^^ you would be much more concerned about your health

Plus my house has fallen 3 times before will most of my stuff in it, i know its a pain as ive lost some rare items but i dont think staff should repair your house.

Edit: Also like everyone keeps saying will you just create a thread, 'Commander Chris ideas' and put everything in there, its annoying when the forums are filled with threads

I'm not sure of the status with houses, but as it stands this would probably be a good idea.

I repaired the houses of a CP member (lindak17) for a couple of month. she said she will be back after 2 or 3 weeks. But I've never heard something from her anymore. Now I've stopped to repair them. We cannot restore destoyed houses.

Yes, they're proposing that a system be created to backup destroyed houses for a period of time.

Houses are in kingdoms, kingdoms can take care of playerhouses by make some members accountable for houses. In CP we have architects for that.

I'm not saying repair the house, staff should not have to do this.
There should be a backup plan, as people get lazy.
Also, you don't know if your going to get hit by a car or anything do you?
depending on other people is bad really.
Everyone should be independant with their own stuff like houses and such.

I'm assuming my house fell a long time ago. Which sucks. Because I had probably 2 RoW's worth of stuff in there. :( My fault though.

The houses take 3 months to break, that should normally be enough time. You can also put valuable items into your account if you don't want to loose it if you are away for long time.

Yea, mine is probably gone, which stinks cause it was 3 floors and had a 50 cauldron alch house in it.

AMong other valuables.

Ravenblade1979 09-23-2006 07:36 AM

You know what. If you build the house you should be responsible for making sure your house stays in good shape. That way you won't lose your stuff or have a friend make sure it stays in good shape while your away.

I know this may take time off your busy schedule but I am sick of hearing people blame staff for stuff like this.

You build it, you keep it in good condition or hire someone too.

hm

yeah, your right.

well fellow graalians teach your family members how to play graal.

If your ever involved in a major accident such as driving a smart car into a truck you will need somebody in your household to repair your house while you recover in intensive care.

:)

Perhaps houses should look more worn out when they are at a lower percentage, to remind owners that their houses are in disrepair + it's just more right.

I guess I'll have to teach my bird or rabbit how to repair my house  if I had one lol (house, bird, rabbit
