Requirements for running GServers on any given machine, but as far as I've been informed, that's now something outlawed on Graal.

Yea, at one time you could get a license to run a gserver but I don't think there was ever any business in it?

I don't think you can anymore. I think this was an option before Playerworld renting came about. Unixmad or Stefan would have to clarify this though.

As I understand it, this was to license Graal for making your own customer base and turning it into a business of your own.

Ie: Be stefan/unixmad! Get a license to host a Graal server! Charge customers to play, make money!
