Tarot (on Serverlist)

We have added the Tarot game, a very popular card game in France and other countries. It is available for Gold and VIP players - click on the Games World or on the Games tab to play it!

Rules:
There are 21 trumps, one joker, and 4 colors each of 14 cards (1..10,jack,cavalier,queen and king). You need to play the same color as the played card, or use a trump if you don't have any card of the same color. You can use the joker in any situation.

Start of the game: First the players must bid, either 'take' (normal game), 'guard' (double points at the end), 'guard without the dog' (you get the points that are in the dog but cannot use them), or 'guard agaisnt the dog' (the opposing side gets the cards from the dog). The highest bid decides who is playing 'alone'. The player that is playing 'alone' must reach a certain amount of points to win the game, which depends on the number of oudlers that he/she owns (trump 1, trump 21 and the joker).
To make it even more interesting, the one who is playing alone must announce a king which he/she doesn't have, and that player is then playing together with him/her. The other player should not say that he has the card though, so that the people don't know who is in which team.

I hope the rules are not too complex, best is to play it :)
If you find any bugs or if you have ideas for improving the game then please post it here.
